love this gym, always clean and a general good gym experience, lovely place to workout with all the machines you could want, except a chest fly one, anyways great facilities and large areas to workout in, would recommend.
Stylish and decently-sized with better equipment than most other commercial gyms in the area, due to it having some great Hammer Strength machines in addition to the usual Matrix stuff. Unfortunately, this hardly mattered as it was also mind-bogglingly busy 95% of the time. I already avoid commercial gyms between the hours of 4-8pm like the plague, and it was still hilariously difficult getting any equipment nearly every day I went. I promise you, you will never get a cable machine here for as long as you live. Absolutely unreal.
The gym employees here are incredibly creepy. Especially the two bald guys, they walk around trying to talk to people and disturbing their workouts. I'm considering cancelling my gym membership, hopefully they are removed. Incredibly creepy vibes from the bald guys.
Decent size with a decent range of equipment, but not nearly enough of the key pieces such as cables. It’s always extremely busy, frequently have to wait 10 minutes plus for one of the adjustable height cables. Good luck ever getting 2 if you want to do flys. There’s loads of space they could put more in, or remove some pieces which always seem to be empty. Could be really good. Also to add: it is SO hot in there when it’s higher than 5 degrees outside, almost unbearable.
There's needs to be plans on making this gym bigger or making it 24/7 to stop it being so busy. It could be a really great gym but with it being so busy it's really hard to get a good workout done. As I've been to JDgym in Salford I never had this problem with using the equipment or getting a workout done that I wanted to do. It's very warm inside too, definitely needs the aircon turning on. Hipfully these reviews get read and action is taken, as I've seen some of the other comments and they are having the same problem.
Weird and creepy gym employee who I won’t name. Equipment is bad quality and pretty outdated, deffo wouldn’t recommend if you are serious about the gym. Majorly busy aswell, can barely move in there between 4-9pm
Very bad gym!!! I never seen something like this before.Come out angry from gym like never.Basically we joined today and was person in reception said to me you feel free enjoy.I came after strees work to relax and training. He followed me and said to me put back a weights. No even please so rude! After my other training on benchpress i forgot to put back he follow me to sauna and scream why you not put back weights.Wow!I just want money back. This person maybe not train propely how to speak woth customers.Very bad Gym person on reception date 08/09 time 21:30 is very bad attitude shouldn't worked there.I not recvomend this gym to noeone.Came from sterrss to stress .No relax.Stupid and liars arrogance and discusting they have no clough how to run gym propely Thank you
Brilliant gym. The staff and people in general are very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic equipment and classes too!
My friends are always harassed by male staff members who keep bothering them.. even though my friends Never ask for help, those gym employees always try to go near my friends and touch them, and chat them up.. the employees should Leave the customers alone!! unless someone comes to the employees and ask their help, there is NO reason to randomly approach the customers and find excuses to touch them or talk to them. As matter of fact - You should Never touch the body of a customer. Regardless of any situation. I would say AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Save your money and go to 10s of other options nearby.
I wouldn’t recommend - the gym is always overcrowded and you have to wait for mats and equipment. Very male dominated with the atmosphere to go with it. After I cancelled my membership they kept charging me and I had to jump through hoops to be able to get a refund!
