Best steak I've ever tasted and I don't normally like steak but was recommended by many friends. Small restaurant but very welcoming reservation recommend as this place is always booked

Very popular, friendly staff, great food. Book ahead! Please avoid if you do not eat meat, they do a rather unpleasant vegetarian mousaka, that's the only only choice. Service was lovely and the rest of my group really enjoyed their meal. 4 stars simply due to the lack of vegetarian option. A bit pricy but it's average in Colchester. Thanks for reading~ Adam

Bella pai in my opinion is the best steakhouse in colchester. It boasts large portions and cozy feel while in the restaurant. Booking is definitely recommended as they can get quite busy at times. Only bit of feedback is sometimes the sides can be a little oily like the potatoes but still tasty. Overall highly recommend.

Went for Xmas Dinner 2017. The portions were huge for the price and I could only finish half the meal.What I ate was lovely and for an Xmas meal the choices were pretty good for our party of 14. Only issue I felt pretty bad about not being able to finish the meal and seeing all of that great food go to waste.
