Had fish and chips. Very good fish. Not so keen on the chips. Mushy peas we're pea puree. Great spot. Good service.

Nice little pub right on the river serving food and a good selection of beers and wines. Nice views of wivenhoe from the back bar. They have a small outside seating area for when the weather's nice.

A lovely pub set on the beautiful river colne. Food is perfect and really friendly staff.

Good pub food, reasonably priced and friendly staff. We enjoyed our time there. I liked the lovely riverside setting, my husband  was taken by the music in the gents! Worth a try and would return.
