I visited greyhound again today (5/2/18) and had one of the best burgers I've had this year. They are very accommodating, so I customised their specialty burger to add a fried egg. Everything was cooked to perfection! Very juicy and tasty, with top quality meat. My congrats to both the chef & service! :D

Food was very tasty, portions were large and price was relatively low. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming :) ribs just fall off the bone!

Excellent food, beautiful new restaurant area upstairs and best lunchtime soup in Wivenhoe. Friendly and welcoming staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Average at best. Slow service and very average food. Doesn't help that the bar and seating area are dark and dingy. In fairness the outside space and garden are really nice.

Unbelievably awful! Sadly one of our favourite pubs has gone to the dogs! ( pardon the pun).A regular haunt for years but now reduced to slow service , inferior food and insults from the barmaid aswell as agressive threatening behaviour from the chef. I have NEVER experienced such hostility and anti social behaviour in a public house ...by it's very name designed to serve the paying public. Absolutely will not be going again and strongly recommend others do likewise.
