Nice cozy pub. Really surprised at the quality of the food though, especially the Angus burger. Its quality is way above pub food and is closer to high quality burger joints quite alike to Honest Burgers.nIf you are in the area, you have to stop by and try it.

nice little pub. felt old and looked old. had a platter to share beer and soft drink. all very nice and quaint. staff friendly.
First time in here and the pub side of it was really nice. Lovely fireplace with a wing back chair if you fancy it.nnThey have a little garden out the back although it was off limits when we went. The food was alot better than I'd expected to be honest. Didn't seem to be the run of the mill food I'd assumed it would be. The antipasti was lovely and we had some whitebait just to add something else to the table, very pleased!nnWe will be back for sure.
Great pub , like a tardis ,much bigger inside than it appears from outside, friendly staff, great range of beers, fantastic atmosphere and location. Didn't get to eat but maybe next time.
