Do yourself a favour and get your fish and chips here.nnBest fish and chips anywhere in the country - better than Whitby! Great portion sizes and delicious. What more can I say!
It really is a great fish and chip shop. Definitely worth a visit.
The fish and chips here are very hit and miss and can often be dripping in fat and soggy chips. The portion size is ridiculous for what you pay. Get way better food and portions at Mr Chips in Dovercourt. The young staff are always friendly but the service just seems to take forever. The older guy needs to learn how to speak to his staff, Horrible the way he talks to them in front of customers. I don't know how this place wins awards.
Terrible service.we got there and were made to walk round to the back of the chippy in Wivenhoe. Chips were soggy and had to wait in cold to get the order. Then told we should have told them that we wanted salt and vinegar. Normally in any chip shop you can put your own on. Beware it’s cash only!
