From the moment we arrived in the car park, we were made very welcome. Initial meet and greet, not too fussy ,it was just right.The overall approach is quite relaxed, and there is no pressure applied. We left having bought a Mercedes C220 AMG. Update August 2022: AutoTrust Formula X not 1/2 is a great warranty! The car was very well presented for collection. Shabir provided excellent service explaining every step of the purchase well including setting up the included 6-month warranty. Notable here Bella Cars does not accept credit card payment - problematic if you wanted to use a 0% promotion towards your car purchase even more of an issue if you simply wanted to pay £0.01 to get Section 75 protection. Additionally, a fresh MOT was provided as well as a mini service via Alfa Tech - a local specialist whom I understand Shabir has a good working relationship with. The car came with limited service history but importantly the cambelt had been changed and there was evidence of this. I realised on the way home driving through the peak district that the car's air conditioning wasn't working. I had tried to test this before purchase, but the car came with so little fuel critical / 0 miles range that I didn't want to run it for too long. Once on dual carriageways and motorway at steady speeds, I noticed a vibration through the steering wheel and seat - it was a bit of a disappointment after the excitement of collecting the car. I rang Bella Cars and Shabir agreed to pay for wheel balancing for the vehicle. I then drove to a local tyre shop in Bristol where they found all 4 wheels required balancing and the rear near side was buckled. I informed Bella Cars of this and Shabir offered to pay for a replacement/repair for the alloy. Finding a like-for-like replacement for the particular design of the wheel was challenging so I sought a repair @ Prestige Wheel Centre. I had to wait a few days for an appointment and couldn’t drive the car properly for a few days as they work by putting it on the spare tire while they fix the wheel. Thankfully PWC were able to fix the wheel and in the meantime, I’d managed to visit Climate Controllers, in Birmingham see my other review to have the A/C leak checked and re-gassed. 3 months later as I write this it’s still working : Bella Cars agreed to pay for the work required for the vehicle up to this point approx. £150. I still had some vibration from my driver's door mirror at idle so I investigated this - Alfa Romeo forums are very helpful. The problem is well known on Giuliettas as caused by a faulty engine mount and Motormech confirmed this for me. The mechanic there diagnosed this very quickly and when sat in the car was shocked by the amount of vibration coming through the seat. When I contacted Bella Cars about this fault, and its accompanying £230 quote, Shabir was insistent I had to use the warranty to cover this. I will admit this is a fault I’d taken longer to identify and as I was quite frustrated by the amount I was having to sort out and worried it might be too much to be resolved or overwhelming - I wanted to settle the first 2 issues first. I admit I did, unfortunately, consider refusing the car after the sale but this would have been a lot of hassle on both sides and I’d already spent a considerable amount of my own time getting issues resolved. I managed to convince the warranty company that the mount had failed in the time I had owned the car as they initially had reservations covering a fault so close to vehicle collection . I’m now much happier with the car as all its faults have been resolved; the new engine mount completely changed the refinement of the car. I’m also very thankful Bella Cars provided the unlimited mileage 6-month warranty for peace of mind and I’m grateful for their payment to resolve the wheels and A/C. I know private sales or lesser dealers wouldn’t have helped in the same way. My only wish is the car checks were perhaps more thorough or extensive prior to collection - cars should be driven on the M62 5 mins from Bella Cars to check for vibrations and air conditioning should be working before the sale. Furthermore, I would advise buyers to carefully consider buying a car 2hrs + away from home from any dealer as it can make resolving problems more complex.
Purchased a nice audi a3 from these gentlemen. Had a couple of small issues with car after a couple of week but Bella cars were very helpful with quick response to gettin these resolved. Recommended a very good garage named alfa tech to get the repairs done who also kept in touch with updates on the progress. I must be honest I was worried about the warranty company as they don't have a lot of good reviews but I had no issues at all and my car is as good as new. Only problem now is how to get my spunk stains off my drivers seat.
Absolutely cracking blokes done me an amazing deal on part exchange every single car in the lot is immaculate not a mark on any of them head down and see what they have in stock and make yourself just as happy as I have today
Recently purchased range rover evoque from Bella cars must say garage is not aa covered and complete there own checks backed up by excellent warranty. I did have AA check over the car with clear report coming back only after couple weeks we noticed leak on pipe In-side the engine. Bella quickly advised us were to go with fix quickly being done. I would recommend Bella after service has been excellent probably more knowledge than AA that's why they don't use them! As anything in life bit luck needed didn't get it this time but warranty was great piece of mind and protection in the cars early life Thank-you Shabir and the team at Bella Cars
