Booked a week off to get this work done. Ordered a kitchen worktop and cupboards for delivery 18.9.24 in writing on the sales / delivery note. Got a text on 28.8.24 confirming delivery for 18.9.24. Got a text today saying delivery was for 17.9.24. Im not in that day and cannot change plans. Called customer service and they are insisting delivery was 17.9.24. I have a tradesman and a week off booked I now have to cancel because all they can do is attempt to deliver and fail it to be re-booked. An absolute joke.
Needed some wood and wanted to take advantage of the cutting service.nAll of the staff were very helpful apart from the only guy that could operate the saw. He kept us waiting for 45 minutes despite being asked by members of staff repeatedly. He actually said on the radio 'she will have to wait' and when the other staff member said she's already been waiting 30 minutes he said 'she can wait a bit longer then'. Very rude when he eventually turned up and cut it wrong literally one cut. I do wonder if he cut it wrong on purpose as we disturbed his nap. I do feel bad for giving a poor rating based on the attitude of one person but he needs retraining.
Ordered items online and order canceled on the Monday. Booked back out for Wednesday were the driver failed to deliver items no phone call or answer at store so had to go upto store to find out what has happened. So was booked out again for next day. Still no delivery or phone call had to get refund and go else were. Won't order anything through them again. The staff at the store was very helpful but bad business as I didn't receive any calls to let me no what was happening.
Big warehouse style store and garden centre. Vast amount of DIY stuff. Good plant selection. Short wait at tills.
Derek, Cam and Sacha on the Trade Counter were fantastic. Helped us with our enquiry and purchase in a friendly and diligent manner. Thank you very much
