Double standard customer service...ONLY polite to certain "types" of customers.
Took my business to the excellent Bishopston Hardware down the road and spent £50.09.

"We have everything you need" was the challenge from the shopkeeper and that's been true in our experience to date. Today we bought everything we needed to re-upholster some furniture, at prices comparable with the best we'd found on the Internet. The store is quite large with enough space to wander around the shelves browsing. The staff have been very helpful and understand what we've been trying to achieve. Will be going back...
