Can here after a my Howdens kitchen tap installed 10 years ago started dripping. It was obviously out of warranty but they found my order and ordered me the replacement cartridges. Great customer service.
Prior to going to Howdens, we were going for a wren kitchen, however the whole experience was a nightmare, hence coming to Howdens. I would say, if you like glamorous showrooms, lots of assistance with planning the kitchen build and then a poor after service, go to Wren! Whereas in Howdens, a showroom is pretty much non existent, but the service you receive is excellent. As we went to Wren first, we had an idea of what worktops etc we wanted, this made our planning fairly easy, but I imagine it could be more difficult if you didn’t really know what you wanted the kitchen to look like. Howdens never really crossed my mind, as I knew they were trade only. After making a call to Howdens one Saturday, I explained the kitchen dilemma to the store manager and he instantly tried to offer ways in which Howdens could help. We arrived at Howdens in the afternoon in which we were greeted by two staff Matt and the store manager, both were great, but most dealings were with Matt and nothing was too much trouble for him. He recommended a few companies, one of which we decided to use Phoenix kitchens Harold and John. I highly recommend using these guys, honest people who put pride into their work, which even comes with a one year fitting guarantee which I didn’t expect. The fitting date was also a lot sooner than Wren! Thanks again, Harold and John! I highly recommend Howdens and Phoenix Kitchens. Thanks, Ben
Howdens Filton are great in all respects. HomeWorks Bristol have received great customer service from Julie in the branch and from Joe and Natalie who measure, price and provide top class drawings and designs. We can't praise them enough!
Really poor experience throughout the whole kitchen process. Initially wrongly advised about which ranges were available in handle less. Designer had no attention to detail so it became evident, not soon enough, that certain aspects of the design were flawed and impractical. Some key parts of the kitchen weren’t specified in the order causing an installation delay. Branch staff quibbled about returned items and tried to charge for an unused item that was dusty. Maybe you’d get a better experience at a different Howdens branch - I would avoid Filton, Bristol.
The kitchen we bought was designed and a price agreed and paid upfront, the design process was pretty good and the designer was prompt in responses and making changes when required. There were some issues which occurred during the order, however, Martin, the branch manager was quick to resolve the issues and I appreciate the speed and the way he dealt with them. Despite the issues that occurred, I'm very satisfied with the product and service received and would recommend Howdens Filton.
If you need something to do with kitchens this is place to go very friendly counter staff who knows what there talking about first class service
I went there with my contractor Joe to pick stuff. The chap seeing us knew his job and that's very good. Anticipated our needs and nothing was too much trouble and had a natural ability to make you feel appreciated. If you need this sorta stuff you won't go far wrong by going here. Good customer service is not lost.
Absolutely amazing service at this branch, after having our kitchen totally messed up by a planner at a different branch, Martin , Matthew , Julie and helen think that’s her name all helped us tracking down missing items and replacing units that the planner measured to small. Matthews service is outstanding, I really cannot praise this branch enough.
We came in to Howdens on 28/04 for a design meeting. My partner and I were very excited about the idea of designing our brand new kitchen. When we got there, the guy responded to us with "why are you here?" bearing in mind we had our appointment booked in. He then went on for 10 minutes asking about measurements, told us not to look at Pintrest as that makes his job harder and then that was it. We have been waiting 2.5 weeks for any communication from him with any designs, any updates, we have heard nothing from them. As we are in the process of doing an extension, we wanted to get things moving, so we have now spent a considerable amount of money on our new kitchen from another supplier - which Howdens have missed out out. We were recommended to come to Howdens and they were the ones we wanted to go with. So to receive that service is absolutely shocking. We will never be using you in the future, never recommending and you have lost out on a big sale because your kitchen/sales designer couldn't be bothered one bit. I hope you don't treat future customers this way. Buying a new kitchen should be exciting and fun, and our experience with Howdens was FAR FROM THIS.
Very easy to access this unit at Filton, we travelled from Berkeley, Gloucestershire. Very helpful from first point of contact on the telephone and also as we entered the showroom were welcomed warmly. Shown around to the kitchens and all accesssories that we enquired about. Felt free to examine, pull out drawers, cupboards etc everything was made accessible to us. Brought items we liked in the catalogue to us so that we were able to examine size, feel and look of handles etc. Everything you needed to see was made available through a knowledgeable helpful assistant who was not too pushy, gave us space and time. We decided only recently to have a Howdens kitchen installed and we are delighted with the quality and appearance. Thank you Howdens.
