You have to be careful because the price changes as you go to the checkout. Today I loaded 17 heavy parcels of boards that were priced on the shelf at 25.95 per parcel. I should have paid 441.15 but at the checkout they charged me over 550 pounds. I went back, took a photo of where I got the parcels from and the price on the pallet they were placed on. They said it was a mistake and that I should load another pallet or go home. Of course I left. I didn't want to risk working for nothing or paying 100 pounds more for boards because they have a mess in the store. They didn't even say sorry. In such a situation the store should offer a discount or have an employee assist me to make sure that I don't have to carry heavy parcels of 15 kg each for nothing again.
A very big store that sells everything one needs for building and DIY. I went in to buy some timber . The ones I wanted were in stock and reasonably priced. A very impressive store, easy to park and with disabled parking plus ' trade only' parking. No queue at the checkout and a burger van waiting outside . A very enjoyable visit
Went to purchase a kitchen, and was helped by a young lady named Megan. She was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and a lovely person to speak to. Highly recommended.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Would give zero stars if i could. Ordered a plant pot from them, it arrived covered in BIRD EXCREMENT and green algae type material. Does not look like a brand new pot, it looks a disgrace. I cannot believe they allowed a product to be sent out in this condition. Customer service is dreadful, no one answers the phone and no one replies to emails. Two and half weeks I have been trying to resolve the issue and get a refund. Will be making a complaint to trading standards as the product received was certainly not the same as advertised, not to mention a health hazard covered in bird droppings. Appalling for such a big name company.
Megan helped us with our kitchen order, nothing was too much trouble, and she came up with some really good ideas. She was a pleasure to deal with, and we will be placing our order in January. Thank you Megan.
