Hello, very good place for shopping for food, drinks, sweets etc and you. Can easily find what you want by looking at the aisles for help when you need to find what you want. Although some of the prices for the products are quite expensive but you can still purchase the products if you have the money too and there is the “Asda essentials” which is also very good I recommend purchasing the Asda essentials products when you go to the superstore.
I shop here alot. The staff needs discipline, they very lazy especially if you ask them something.nnThe other day i came to buy something and i paid for it and walked off. Then i hear a voice of lady who works at self checkout section screaming “don’t just walk off without paying” called me back and then she doubled checked and realised i did pay. Then she started saying sorry etc.nnTo point is she made me feel embarrassed in front of everyone making me feel like i stole something when i didnt. A horrible feeling
I went in to buy a BBQ and outdoor seating. I’m a professional working woman and earn my own way. Shouldn’t matter if I wasn’t but to one of your workers it obviously does. I looked online and the items I wanted had been reduced… nowhere did it say that this was an online offer. Going into store there was 30% of signs plastered all over the items I had come into store for. Of course like anyone else in this economy I would want the best offer so I grabbed them and went to the check out where the items come up as full price… not the online price or the 30% price but full price. The woman at the check out asked one of her colleagues about it and she said that that’s the price so I thought oh well I’ll buy it I had struggled to get it to the check out so bugger it. However on my way out of the store I’m stopped by a member of the public who tells me that the woman who had been asked to confirm the price had talked about me and it had made her angry to hear this woman talk about me the way she did. The member of the public said that it was obvious the worker was questioning if I could afford it, would try and get the deal or by the sounds if I would try and steal it. I have never stole in my entire life and to be accused of this when I had paid for the items despite knowing I could get a better deal elsewhere is a joke. This was at around 16:47 as I returned the items at 16:57. Think the woman in question was named Sue or Julie. She was working on self check out at the time.nnI reported it when returning my items but no one seemed to care. Asda sort your staff out, give them some more training on customer service and most importantly remind them never to judge people especially whey they don’t know who they are judging!
The girl Sahara on self checkout area is really pathetic not willing to help asked her 100 times that why my Asda app is not scanning voucher rather the other women from cafe area came volunteerly to help us which was not her job but still that cafe?area staff helped us. But the girl in checkout area asked her name she replied sahara Not interested to see on my screen what's wrong with app rather she was simply ignoring to help.Really Asda is paying for doing nothing to staff. Please give proper training that customer service matters
Been shopping here at darlaston Asda on and off for years. Been put off over the last few years as the shelves are most of the time empty and to me not very clean. I recently brought a top for my granddaughter but when I got home there was a stain on the top. So next morning I went back in for a refund to be told I can’t exchange or refund until 9.00 am. I said to the check out girl “ That’s fair enough but means I now have to go back to which is a bit of a pain but still “ She said in a rude tone of voice “ Well it’s not my fault is it “ I replied “ I didn’t say it was did I “ She said something else but I left it as that and walked off.nI’m going back at 9.00 am to return the top and I will never shop at this store again and probably any Asda again. RUDE staff.
