Made use of the sale and a discounted bundle after the in store demonstration during which we really liked what we saw. . Got the car seat adaptor, footmuff, rotating baby car seat and base, changing backpack, cup holder, pushchair, carrycot. Haven't assembled everything yet but based on what I saw in the store, I'm sure everything will be great. Seems a bit pricy, but also really good quality, as do most things in the store. Will be visiting to get more in the near future.nI just hope I don't have to reach out to their customer service team. The customer service was atrocious. It was the worst I've ever experienced from any company. So, when I made my order, I chose to have it delivered. I immediately realised I'd made a mistake as I realised it might've been easier to collect it all in store. I tried to go onto my account to ammend this but wasn't able to so I emailed their customer service team. This was about five minutes after placing my order. It was an expensive order nearing a thousand pounds and I thought it was a relatively simple request to change it from delivery to click and collect seeing as how nothing had been shipped yet. The guy who emailed me back said no, they wouldn't be able to change this. So, I called the customer service team. The woman I spoke to said yes, they would be able to change this for me. When I told her about the email response, she laughed, essentially saying his response was ridiculous and that he shouldn't have written that. She apologised on his behalf. I thought that was that. Ten minutes later she emails me and writes they're not really allowed to change the order to collect in store, so she'd have to check with the store. Of course, I respond because I'm receiving contradictory messages all over the place. She responds writing that it goes goes against business rules so she'd have to check, almost like she was doing me a favour. When I asked why she'd said the other guy was wrong to refuse, why she'd apologised on his behalf and why she'd basically assured me it had been changed to collect in store, she chose not to respond to that. Instead she responded saying none of this was relayed to me for customer peace of mind. Absolutely ridiculous. She also mentioned it went against business rules and because it's a big order, the store might not have space to store it. When I questioned everything, including why at the time of checkout, I had the option of choosing click and collect, of course she didn't respond. After a while I received an email saying my order had been changed to click and collect. Of course the rep didn't respond to my questions. I didn't push it even though I was flabbergasted by this level of customer service.nWhen I received an email notifying me my order was ready to collect, I got in touch with them again to know how many days I had to collect it. The person I spoke to from the Birmingham Gallagher store told me 14 working days. I emailed the customer service team as well as I like having things in writing, to ask the same question. The person who responded totally ignored the question, replying that my order was ready to collect. I had to respond, saying read my previous question properly, I know my order is ready to collect but how long do I have to collect it? Got a response saying 10 days.nIt seems like no one knows the business rules, just make things up to the spot. They just want to fob customers off and are actually downright rude. They contradict each other and don't know how to send professional emails and responses, just don't know much about customer service or the business.nI must say the customer service from the online team and phone team was nothing short of diabolical. The customer service at the Birmingham Gallagher store was brilliant though. Purchase items from Mama and Papas and you'll be getting quality items. I just hope you never encounter any issues of any kind that mean you have to reach out to the customer service team!nI am happy to share emails and details of all correspondence to managers or anyone else.
Manager was helpful. Staff behind the till were not all 3 of them.nnWhile the manager was rushed off her feet supporting customers, the 3 behind the till were unhelpful.nnThey lacked the knowledge to answer questions, so instead made up answers, rather than admit they were unsure.nnDespite being shown images and information from the mamas and papas website, they continued to insist that the Nuna TRVL LX stroller could not be used for a newborn even with car seat.
We visited the mamas and papas at Gallagher retail park today and received great help from Phoebe. She was super helpful and gave us great advice, taking time to show us all the products we have questions about. She was also very knowledgeable and patient with us, although we didn’t purchase today but will be back soon when we have decided due to her great service.
Melissa helped us throughout the process explained us everything from the beginning till end very professional and big credit for mamas&papas. I would definitely recommend Melissa’s customer service to others
Booked a personal shopping experience, myself, partner and nan went. We had the absolute pleasure of being shown around by Deb. She was so helpful and such a lovely woman! A credit to the store! There wasn’t anything she couldn’t help us with and nothing was too much hassle, any questions we had we’re quickly answered and demonstrations were shown. We will definitely be back up to purchase more in the near future! Thank you Deb! X
