Purchased my daughters blazer and tie from here, was not in stock so had to be sent to get made. Was told I would get a call when ready. NO PHONE CALL RECIEVED and phone constantly busy my daughter starts monday. Quick to take cash but sloppy when keeping paying customers informed.
Rude staff, not helpful, my child starts school monday with no uniform, had to go to asda and spend more money till her uniform comes in. Order her uniform before the schools even broke up to make sure she had it. They said i would recieve a message when it was in stock. Went in thursday to be told still some of the orders not there and to wait for a message. I will defo be looking for somewhere else to get the uniforms from next year.
Awful place. Staff are terrible look at you as if you shouldn't be there and totally ignore you. When you do ask a question your made to feel like your in front of a head teacher you dread asking...you need a few deep breaths before you go in and a hard hat on. Not going to miss it always hated going in there.
Avoid if possible! If you like being spoke to rudely and looked down upon then feel welcome to go to Clemmy's, they were selling uniforms at my daughter's school today, the two woman who were from Clemmy's are about as useful as a chocolate teapot, when they wasn't snapping your head off or talking to you like you were something off the bottom of their shoe they were absolutely useless and of zero help. I understand we're in a pandemic and it hits us all hard, but does it kill you to put a smile on your face and be friendly? This wasn't the first time it's happened either.
My Mom went to clemmys on monday to get my son a uniform due to me working night shifts and wouldn'thave made it there so early. She is disabled and catched 2 busses and stood in a queue for one hour, when she got in the shop, the lady behind the counter ignored her and left her waiting whilst she wasnt doing nothing, she didn't acknowledge her so my mom asked if she could make an order for the lady to rudely say 'when your called yes'. When she finally got acknowledged there was no uniforms that we needed in stock and the lady said she will order them in for Wednesday and she will need to be there first thing of the morning. As i was on a night shift again last night she yet again catched the 2 busses this morning.. stood in the queue for one hour to be told uniforms womt be in untill next wednesday. She has severe COP'd and dispite me telling her not to go and i will go when i am up, to help me out she went out of her way to get the uniform for me as my son is back in school friday and he needs a jumper as he has grown out of the new ones i brought 8weeks ago already. Im not happy with the staff being so rude and ignorant to my mom and them telling her to come back first thing this morning for them to not have in what they specifically told her would definitely be there today. No apology. No mannors. And now a third journer has to be made.. all because they haven't gor a clue what they are onabout. Discusting. NOT HAPPY!!
Diabolical service and attitude from the staff. Asked me to repeat what I was saying because she wasn't listening and being nosey to other people's conversation. Had to take jumpers back as colour shade was noticeably different to the jumpers from the school and other uniform shops. Might be cheaper than the other uniform shops but quality was rubbish. Would rather pay the extra for the quality and service. Need to up their customer service skills especially in current climate and think they are something special. Don't buy from here unless you desperately need to. Won't be going back that's for sure!!!!!!
Went in to the wool part of the shop as I needed help building up a crochet kit for myself an absolute beginner. The lady was really helpful and sold me a crochet hook, yarn and an instruction card with different types of crochet and knit patterns on. She also directed me to YouTube for helpful videos and informed me there is a class that takes place at the nearby church on Tuesday mornings. V. Informative and friendly service, I will be returning! Thanks!
Went there last saturday with my Grandson to get his uniform for Grace Academy waited 25 mins as only 1 allowed upstairs despite the fact that the shop is huge upstairs and downstairs could easily socially distance with 2 or more customers. Now we get to customer service which was nothing short of appalling! Unhelpful and rude sums it up. I ended up going to First Choice who also do the uniform and PE kit for Grace they could not have been nicer and more helpful what a total contrast and they were cheaper. I will never use Clemmys again if i could have given no stars i would have
I went to clemmys to spend a significant amount of money on my childrens uniform. I was disgusted with the attitude of the staff working there. Everything was to much trouble for them to do. Unpleasant very rude, unhelpful with sizes. Loads of staff standing around doing nothing. To many staff not enough service. We had to wait ages to be served as they was only allowing one to be served upstairs and one down. There is plenty of room to still be 2 meters apart and serve more than one. If my memory serves me correctly, Which it does, they had the same attitude last year. In this area we are short of uniform shops, so most people use clemmys not out of choice and the manager knows this, as when I called to complain about my experience he wasn't bothered as he said we get people keep coming back year after year, he wasn't bothered about loosing a costumer.
Unfortunately the ignorance and unhelpful nature of all but 1 of the staff makes going to the shop a bad experience. No help on converting sizes, and blase attitude to getting the right fit . We are all stressed at this the of year but being kind costs nothing , everything is too much trouble and it felt like a " how dare you ask" attitude. Sorry wont be returning , West Brom uniform shop and first choice trump you 1000% on helpfulness and kind attitude.
