A massive thank you to Rob in store today! Helped myself, my partner and my MIL find a sofa we all liked and did a great deal for us. Very understanding when we said we wanted to carry on looking around the other sofa stores but still happy to see us back
Oh dear! Don't believe they will make your furniture and deliver it, as promised. Don't believe they will sort a finance package either. Got my money back in the end, thank goodness, but after a traumatic experience. Looks nice in the shop and staff were friendly, but if you actually want sofas... just saying!
Funnily we got our last sofa from here. So now we have got a new corner sofa from here, choices are a little limited but that seems the par for most furniture shops just seem we like this on. There is a second floor that's where we found our new sofa and yes they do have a big lift for wheelchairs . Staff are friendly shame there compute system wasn't, so that's why they lost a . Lots of car park space, will probably review again if the sofa has problems, hope not.
The worst store I've ever been to. we bought sofas, the master of service said good news only 6 weeks of waiting, we are still waiting and it's already 10 weeks and if we wants to call the store no one answers the phone or the whole day the phone is busy. they promise quick delivery just to sell the sofas, do not be fooled
just returned after being trapped in the lift for half an hour. No sign of the manager until the fire service turned up, no one offered my mom a drink disabled and hates being trapped in tight spaces, only one of the staff said sorry smirking somewhat, no one took our details as procedure at most companies in a situation such as this. only phoned the fire service after 10 minutes as i pointed out their 'emergency procedure' stated this was the stated way to follow probably would have had us waiting for a service engineer given a chance really most places when something like this happens would have got you sat down asked if your ok and given you a drink instead just allowed to walk out nothing asked or said guess you've lost a sale
ref melanie gee me and my fiance Went to get a Sofa from this Harverys store 7 weeks ago, The Sofa had to be ordered and i was told 6 weeks for Delivery. When the salesman did the Paper work it said 13 weeks i asked him about this and he said we have to put that on there but you will get it in 6 weeks. Now its 7 weeks and i have been told that it will be 13 weeks before i get a delivery date, This is not good, I asked if i can cancel the order i was told No i have signed a contract, I then asked for my deposit back i was told no and if they 'do' refund me my deposit then they will take 20% from my deposit. I have been passed from pillar to post with this company and i do not advise anybody to buy from this store. Also was told by the sales representatives that the sofa was full leather on two separate occasions, By the same sales rep, In front of two witnesses, only to find out that the tag specified it was only half leather, then the sales rep totally back tracked what he had already said on two occasions to make us look stupid. You will be told anything you want to hear from the sale representatives to get you to order from them. Be warned. I advise using other stores on this complex that are much more professional and do not jump on you when you enter the door.
Bunch of liers from staff to the manager. The manager needs to grow a backbone and sort matters out instead of acting like a basic uneducated sales assistant which he isnt even capable of being. Ordered sofas early feb got promiced they will arrive 13 weeks. They try delivering it in May and dont even attempt to take one part of the sofa out saying oh it wont fit through the door. Then they say oh we will send specialist to get it in but no 2 weeks later they send thr same two people. Again im left with no sofas. Now its mid june and they deliver my sofas and leave 2 bits outside and send another company hour later to get them in and then try and bill me for it. They not once mentioned to me this will occur charge. When my mrs call the store the so called manager tells her he cannot speak to her as she ismt the account holder which is funny because when i ring an hour later the manager said to me he spoke to my mrs and told her about the charge. Once i confronted his lies he just blagged his way out like the uneducated unprofessional he is. He promiced me a call back today which never came surprise surprise. I call headoffice and explain my situation to them for only to be put on hold and get cutt off. Money grabbing frauds !
Today with no pressure at all my wife and myself purchased a 3 seate and 2 seater settee and the guy who helped us throughout was Rob" what a guy" he was a pleasure to be around and very helpful we felt at ease and he explained the procedure. So hopefully everything will go to plan in the near future when we receive our furniture ..Harveys " rob deserves to be recognised for the job he does as he probably already is , but now and then your staff need a pat on the back to say well done "
What can I say about this store. This store is a joke. Was told my order will be delivery on the 19 of February it's now 29 of April still no delivery on top of that they are refusing to refund me back my money. The store manager is incompetence. She not able to give me a delivery date of when stock or due if you ask another staff they are sat end of April. The only time she was able to say when stock are due was when I ask for my money back. Highly recommend shopping else where. If you want reliable and good customer service please don't shop here. Worst shopping experience ever.
Me and my daughter in Law just went browsing around this store as we were both looking for sofas.. Jordan the sales assistant was most helpful and polite, he didn't rush us at all, we found the furniture that we liked, reclining sofas, Jordan told us to take our coats and shoes off to get the feel of them as if they were in our homes, he brought us both a cup of coffee..we decided we wanted to purchase the sofas, Wayne then took over to do the paperwork , he was also very polite and helpful.. I must say what a delightful duo and s lovely shopping experience.... Thank you both
