Went into Asda after 8pm and unknowingly filled my trolley only to realise the tills were closed. A lovely lady called tres helped me scan my items. She had a great personality and was very friendly towards my to young daughters. Thanks again tres
Overall impression this store lacks customer service skills. Disappointed and will avoid in future.nQueues building at self scan but staff refused to allow only 10 items in my trolley trolley needed for disability to be used at the many empty basket scan tills, would rather let queues build. No customer service there.nAs a new customer to this store, very put off by the lengthy lecture from the greeter when I asked him where, & told I needed to to go to a click n collect machine which is outside the barriers after you've entered the store. Very unwelcoming & unhelpful impression.nOnly encountered one helpful member of staff, a picker who kindly took me to a product I couldn't find.
I would like to warn anyone who needs to eat a gluten free diet due to celiac or the like to double check the ingredients, particularly on snack items as they are putting items that contain wheat, barley malt in particular. I wasn't going straight home and fancied something to nibble on and picked up Olly's pretzels but then was quite unwell the following day and the only thing I had eaten differently was this snack, the packaging was still in my bag and on checking found they contained these items. Whilst in store yesterday I doubled checked the Free From shelves only to find this product was still there, I spoke to a member of staff about it but she was quite off hand and intimated that it was my fault and that the ingredient list was only as a warning that the product MAY contain wheat etc. Perhaps all staff need to be made aware that people don't eat gluten free just for fun.
This Asda is a big superstore groceries and home and kitchen supplies also clothes. I haven’t used the dining area so can not comment. There is a large car park so never really had trouble parking. It’s conveniently located with a petrol station and car wash on site.
In the store today, scan and go , I had wine one staff member was with a woman, about 10 had gone bye, my till was asking for, store Assistant to clear my wine, so I wait and I wait and I wait . One member of staff passed me three times, it was about 17 minutes before I was seen at the till , please be assured but from now on I will not hesitate in asking for the manager and I will be taking it a lot further. Today was a disgrace.
