Matthew at the Arnold Clark DS Sighthill showroom has been absolutely fantastic. He thoroughly explained everything, showed us our new car and did everything quick efficiently and to a very tight schedule. Even coming in on his day off to do handover as this was our only free day and we needed the car for a new job! Our process had some issues as I forgot some relevant documents but it was quickly resolved and there were no delays. The lovely sales manager Peter came over to congratulate us and welcomed us when Matt was on the phone. Due to this service we will absolutely return to this show room for our future cars as the service was amazing. Truly a 5* experience. I cannot recommend Matt and the Citroen/DS garage enough.
I have waited for a few months before reviewing and I'm glad I did. I bought our Hyundai Tucson at the end of march. Speaking to Stuart I said have the brakes been done. He pointed to the front wheels and said yes. I replied brake pads and discs? Yes. He can't remember this conversation typical so happy that I wouldn't have a big bill later down the line I agreed to the sale. Fast forward to July and I got my trusted mechanic to service the car. It had seemingly been done at the Kirkcaldy branch however they didn't reset the warning light. Thank goodness I did because I found out that only front pads had been replaced no discs and all were extremely worn. The manager at Arnold Clark wanted their service center to check it so I had to try to contact them to arrange an appointment. Finally had to threaten court action before he rang me. Their response? The brakes are within legal limit. So if I hadn't got them checked I wouldn't have known until the MOT was due next year. Let's be clear if I'd known I would have to do this work after only owing the car for just over 4 months it wouldn't be parked outside my house now. The customer experience from this garage has been shocking. First and last time I will ever use them. Avoid and use another firm. You will see by their reply that they take no responsibility for the cars they sell. Get an independent mechanic to check anything you look at on their forecourts
I bought a DS4 in September 2022 with this branch. Since I live in London I was not able to come up to the store. However, Josh was very thorough with giving me all the information and with any help I needed, especially with a detailed video of the vehicle. The whole process took less than a week from me enquiring to having my car down in London for me to drive. Thanks guys for the brilliant service you provided.
I have called this dealership numerous times for an update on a C3 thats been with them since 11.11.2022 but every single time i call, i am asked if they can call me back, and they never do. I just want to know whats happening with the car. Its a complete nightmare and its having a negative effect on my life.
Great service from start to end !! Very personable I dealt with Josh and co worker who were fantastic and very knowledgable. Being my first car they explained everything easily and did follow up phone call few days after. Can’t recommend them enough, need a car this place will look after you ! Thanks again to all ! And video walkarounds are a lovely touch !
Replaced my DS7 with brand new DS4 and I’m really happy with customer service. Got mixed feelings with Arnold Clark from my previous experience but when, second car from DS branch and I’m really happy with customer service, how they treat you, how much attention they put in every customer. A massive thanks to Matthew Clark, with this guy I can do a business every time. Professional, open, black on white everything. If he can give you the best he will. Contact with him amazing. He’s the only person to keep me still using Arnold Clark and to buy another DS. So hopefully Arnold Clark going to keep this guy and take him as a example. Because with him they will gain much more customers and experience will be next level. I bought my car in May. But was really busy that’s why I’m posting my review now.
Tried to book my Citroen Relay motor home in for a service at least 3 times in the past 2 weeks, I got through twice, the first time I was promised a call back after the adviser said they would have to find the cost. The second time I managed to get through, there was no one to take the call, so the receptionist said she would take my number and email the manger who would organise a call back. I’m still waiting a call back. So, so far the customer experience is very poor.
Spoke to Andrew S here when we had questions about EVs, and he was absolutely fantastic at providing details and useful information to us. We learned a lot more from him that we did from everything combined that we heard at previous dealerships!
Just wanted to say that the service we received from our salesman Colin Campbell was great. He is a great member of the Arnold Clark Team. Nothing was too much trouble made it very easy for me to buy my wife her dream car. There was no pressure no hard sale. Five star service.
Nobody is taking responsibility! Purchased a used DS3 and it was agreed that as part of the deal the car will get a full service. My wife insisted it needs to be a full service because we did not fancy having issues in the first year. Car had to be brought in twice because they did not do it. Eventually they confirmed it has been done. We checked the paperwork and it has not been entered. Getting really annoyed at this constant forth and back and promises we decided to believe them. Big mistake ! Exactly one year later we asked a local garage todo the service because we did not have any faith in Arnold Clark. After they removed the wheels they called us and said the brakes and disks have disintegrated and the date on the filters match the date when it left the factory. Clearly Arnold Clark did not do the Full Service. We went back and asked to speak to the Sales manager Mr.Stubberfield which was unbelievably rude and intimidating. It’s not his fault. It’s the Service Departments fault. When we asked him to escalate it to them he picked up the phone, called the number and said, look, they don’t answer. It’s always like this. Nothing I can do. We left Very Frustrated and drove to the Service Department asking for the manager. Suddenly and friendly and respectful person spoke to us. We showed him the parts from the car and he said he will deal with it. We left with confidence awaiting feedback. We did not hear anything for a while so my wife called the Service Department but did not get any information about the investigation. My wife spoke to different people and then I received an email from Quintin customer services explaining an issue which had nothing todo with our complaint. After I replied and explained everything again I receive another email from him telling me that customer services was not part of any of these conversations and I need to go back to Sighthill !!!!!!! I now asked him to escalate this again because everybody is just blaming everyone and nobody is actually looking at the issue. So I’m still waiting for an answer. Would I recommend Arnold Clark. Judge yourself.
