Would have been a 5-star review but had to chase up a bit to get them to settle the finance on my trade in which they did, just took a bit longer than it should have. But as far as I'm concerned, I got a very good deal on a used Mercedes from them. Car had a few bits wrong and got fixed up for me collecting it. Even put a few quid of fuel in it. Ali was great to deal with, very professional and seems a very genuine guy. I've seen reviews where cars have broken down on folk after buying them, but this is just a risk of buying a used car sometimes. Sometimes no one can tell if and when a car will break down or go wrong. I got a good car so far and got a good deal on it. The guys done their best as far as I'm concerned. Highly recommend them and I will go back in the future. And no, they did not pay me to write a good review, I'm just being honest.
I would like to thank the team and in particular Brian for what I can only describe as first-class service. From my early inquiries to completing the deal, I have been treated with complete honesty and transparency, something that other dealerships failed to do. The little touches like collecting me from the airport, preparing the car and me for a long journey, and more importantly the patience that was demonstrated in teaching me how to operate the technology. A great team, a great service, and wholeheartedly recommended.
Above and beyond service with unexpectedly competitive prices. Ali did a great job talking me through my complimentary vehicle health check, helping me understand what was required while also explaining what could wait. This was then followed up by a phone call from Ali who was able to answer any questions I had and discuss the cost of the work; both very pleasant and competent. I was also delighted to find my car had been cleaned inside and out upon collection, I will definitely be recommending
Be aware of unlawful procedures! I completed a part-exchange sale with Cars4You in November 2021 and after 6+ months I find out the company was driving the car untaxed! The had failed to register themselves as a new owner of my old vehicle and continued to use it on roads while it was untaxed. I am now receiving fines from DVLA for driving a vehicle without tax. Rude management said it's my responsibility! I handed in all documents and completed a purchase under good will that they will too complete the legally necessary documents on their side. Would not recommend buying a car from this place.
1 place for cars in our area. Huge inventory, extremely fair priced, and I was helped by making the best purchase for my needs, not the sales persons check, extremely hard to find in this industry. This is a local, family-owned business, with family values that are clearly passed down to the customers. It's hard to find a good dealer to support a growing fleet, I'm thankful for the rare find!
They helped me to find the perfect van I needed for my business. It was delivered to my home in tip-top shape many miles away from the main office. After my purchase, I wanted to make add-ons to my van. Peter helped me on several occasions by offering advice, sending links, and even sending a person out to my home for a particular service I needed to be done. He has welcomed me to get in touch for any other issues or questions and I feel really good about that. I will not hesitate to purchase another car from this company in the future as my business continues to grow. Thank you!
Peter at Cars 4 You is professional, clear, and honest. He makes sure the vehicles he sells are in the best possible condition l before he sells them. We are very happy with our soon-to-be camper car that he sold us!
I purchased a car and I was promised that I would receive the receipt of the service and the log book on my name. 8 weeks later I hadn't received the log book but I was told it was dvla fault which was A LIE. Indeed, when I got fed up of chasing them I investigated and found out that they never applied for the log book at DVLA so I have to do it myself. They have lied to me many times and this leads me to think that they never serviced the car before the sale as they never produced a receipt for it. Ali and the staff will call you "my friend" and then instantly disappear after the sale. No after sale service and poor attitude, I can't believe the 5 stars reviews are genuine, given my experience.
Extremely happy with the service I received from Mercedes Benz of Edinburgh East. From the start to finish Ali was fantastic throughout, always in contact and kept me in the loop with the process of the car which made the journey so enjoyable and relaxed.
It's so easy to buy a fantastic car from this company. I search for it on google and contacted them. They're mostly friendly. Thank you Car4you team.
