I went to this store to purchase '3yrs Replacment product care' for an item I'd bought less than 45days ago, and I had my receipt. However, when I showed my receipt to the member of staff at the Warrington store, she treated me like I was suspicious simply because I'd used gift cards to purchase my item originally. She then went off and had a whispered discussion with another member of staff for five minutes, when she returned they had suddenly decided that I had to have the item on site with me to prove to them that it was still in working condition and I wasn't trying to take out the replacement product care under false pretences. They even said they want to do a 'test' run' in store! I don't know why she'd made this decision after seeing that I'd bought the item using gift cards. I went to a different Argos after that and they let me get the 'replacement product care package' with no questions asked and didn't make me feel like some lying criminal!
