A great Argos store to shop in although it’s not like old days Argos. Staff are very friendly and polite. Even when the store is super busy they deliver great service. Offer very reasonable price too. This time bought a Dutch oven 5.3L only 33£.
It's a very simple Argos, considering it's primary just for orders and collections. The members of staff are pretty friendly. The shop itself was kept neat and clean and there were no queues when I was there. They do have various openings times and offer extended Christmas warranty and returns.
I popped in a few days before Christmas to collect my order which I paid for online. Considering they are located in the busy Arndale and with the Christmas rush, the store was super busy but the gentleman who assisted me was really friendly and helpful. I’ve been to the Salford Argos before it closed down and have also used The Fort Argos a few times, neither was an enjoyable experience even on a quiet day.. but Arndale Argos is great! I’d recommend using them as I will only use them in the future.
Do not buy anything electronics from them! !!its says 1 year warranty. My Mrs bought a hair straightener which went faulty. Only had it 7 months . Took it back to ask for exchange and she said its past the 6 months?? so I have to get in touch with the manufacturer . No accountability whats so ever. Even if it was 11 and half months into the warranty. They should have book it in for a repair or a simple exchange. So whats the year about then . Won't be going argos again and I'll warn others not also
The employees are always approachable and go out of their own way to help you, including those who have speak problems. aka a stutter Never had a problem with their services and would recommend this store. Thank you
Very bad customer service I had my item delivered yesterday at 6pm 1/11/2022 I didn't get updated next day I phoned the store the manager said he couldn't find it so I had inquiry once again to seller+ebay and the delivery people inpost customer they provide me with a picture so I had go to the store the same manager who told me no item and it's not his responsibility David has serviced me and claim give me esp code i told him it's already I think Argos should not this to happen because I feel sorry for the seller and the fact he told it was not there plus he was not so helpful .
I've always received great customer service here when purchasing products, recently I unfortunately had to return a convection heater as it had broken down. Tony made the whole process seamless, as a manager of s coffee shop I really appreciate the great service he provides me both on the phone and in person. Very pleased with how quickly and easily the faulty product was replaced! Thanks guys!
Wouldn't buy anything from them even under the 1 year warranty they don't want to know trust me stay well clear!!
I had a very bad experience with argos at Arndale centre , I asked if a item was available they said yes we have it stock its available so I brought it paid for am waiting at the collection point they tell me its on its way am still waiting and this time they tell me its coming ok fine, am still waiting manager says yeah its coming not long to go and am still waiting I asked kindly how long they tell me its some where we don't know where but we looking for it, and am still waiting patiently, hour later they tell me looks like it qe dont have it in stock I asked if home delivery is OK if they fund it, they told me no we don't do home deliveries its collection in store only, I ended up getting refunded its a nightmare I would never shop at Argos ever again at Arndale centre, I would recommend people not to go there , I don't want same happening to anyone else They said its coming and then an hour later they said we don't have, if you didn't have in stock then why did they say yes we have few , Arndale centre argos is the worst store ever Don't shop at this store people
Just don't buy anything from they will happily take your money but after care is ridiculous
