Ardleigh Green Surgery

Due to us moving home we have had to register with a different doctors surgery & this one was recommended. We have been with this practice for about for about 2.5 years now. All of the staff at this surgery are very polite & I am sure that they are trying their best but it's nothing short of a complete shambles! It seems that the computer system that they are trying to use is either not fit for purpose or they don't know how to use it!. The chances of seeing the same Doctor twice are very slim. The senior Doctor is only in attendance twice a week & it seems that the majority of patients try to see him, therefore it can take more than a month to get an appointment with him if your lucky. I would not recommend using this practice.

My 3 year old son has been misdiagnosed TWICE at this surgery and my partner who had fainting fits was told "there is nothing we can do until we witness it" NO TESTS, NO REFERRALS NOTHING. I complained then and saw a different doctor who begrudgingly referred her to our own private health. I personally went to this doctors for a throat problem and was sent for a chest investigation which I knew was a waste of time but the doctor did not listen to me as was the same for my son who had been very unwell for 8 days. The doctor said it was a virus which turned out to be tonsillitis after attending emergency. They need to change their whole mentality drastically as the doctors are very aloof and dismissive. We are a normal family not confrontational at all but I struggle with this surgery. I would give no stars if the option was there.

Waited over a hour to see the practice nurse after I was sent two letters to say I needed to see her. The nurse was friendly and very apologetic to how long I had to wait When I tried to book appointments I was told there wasn't any until 17th April , almost a 3 week wait. Looks like I will be sitting there again for another hour.

Hard to get appointment with a regular doctor. Different one every time you visit.
