The gems are there! It's one of those places that's worth returning to on a regular basis as the stock changes all of the time and there are some real gems to be had. It's always worth speaking to the staff too. I was in this week and mentioned that I was looking for something specific and one of the staff disappeared into the back and came out with exactly what I wanted. Silly price too so a double win. Definitely worth a visit.
I went today and I picked up a few items while in the a massive queue I seen they had a promotion of 20% off if you scanned the promotion on your phone. I wanted to ask how to do this while at the till but the server made me feel uncomfortable and did even mention the promotion or if I would like the 20% off if I did this thing using my phone.. I just felt like best not to ask and not hold up the queue won't be going again.
In the words of the great Genaro Gatusso; "Sometimes maybe good! Sometimes maybe sheet!" It's worth checking out if you're in the area as sometimes there's some good stuff at a very reasonable price. However, don't drive up from Exeter expecting to be guaranteed insane deals as you may be sorely, sorely disappointed.
Always hit and miss when you go, that's not the shops fault it's just a case of getting lucky and them having your size in clothes/shoes. Can go one week and there be nothing, go the next and you could walk away with literally hundreds of pounds of bargains £100+ trainers for less than £20, wish I'd bought 3 pairs!. Worth a look if you're in the area, you might drop lucky!
Went for footwear. It was difficult to find my size amongst the vast number of shoes on display. Shelves are not marked clearly with the sizes available and many shoes were boxed up making it difficult to find the specific type of shoe that I was looking for. Little staff available to assist me on the day. Preferred how the outlet used to be set up and when the staff were helpful and friendly. Won't be going back
Slightly disappointed as most of the men’s items were football related. The odd item I did find wasn’t available in my size lots of XL. GF faired a lot better as women’s had a lot more variety. Prices were ok, average savings of 30%
Amazing bargains! One guy working on the floor was super helpful finding me some superstars! He definitely loved his job and was friendly going above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for! Thank you
Lack of disability access - the ramp is constantly out of order so before you reach the luxury of seeing what's inside you'll have to be carried inside with help of other customers. If you are however able to walk up the unstable stairs, you might make it to the view the often overpriced items comparison made with similar items in Sports Direct. Would give 1 star but at least the staff members were kind and helpful in getting out of the store.
I got banned for buying too much and accused of being a reseller, I was eventually barred by management in march 2022. Would defiantly avoid buying multiple items whilst Karen is around, she is a bully!
Fantastic staff..helpful..friendly..very efficient and hardworking This place is the best and definitely worth spending your hard earned cash in there
