George was lovely and fixed up my broken heels in 10 minutes for just under £13. He even brought a chair over for me since I wore them in. Would absolutely recommend for any shoe repair needs!
Great service and communication from George. I had a friend's Barbour duffle bag repaired last week. George kept me up-to-date on the process from start to finish, and performs high quality work. Prices are a little steep, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend him to anyone in the Islington area.

If you have a lock or key issue, call Achilles and you be back up sprinting in no time. Exceptional service, wealth of experience and fairly priced. On the r a r e occation he is not able to help, he know exactly who can. Highly reccomended.
George really helpfully showed me what wrong with a zipper and fixed it in just a few minutes. Also previously Achilles fixed my shoe soles and put on new soles that unlike those given by other places didn’t wear out again quickly-this is very hard to find for women’s shoes!
Amazing experience. You can tell that they know what they’re doing and they’re incredibly professional. It’s not the cheapest service there is, but it’s so worth it. The owner is a true craftsman: Repair, not throw away!
