Eric did a fantastic job repairing new soles on a pair of my partners boots when other shops said it couldn't be done. It took some time and patience, but the end result was excellent. They have been worn a few times now and they perform and look almost as new.
Came to London from Lebanon with my loake brogues took them to the Cobblers nest where Eric and his team did a great work buffing, changing soles fixing the interior of the brogues. I'm really happy with the work.
Great cobbler, you can tell they love good quality shoes. I had protective soles fitted on a pair of Isabel Marant boots and they did a wonderful job, you can't see it was a cobbler's addition to them. Very happy that I now can wear them without worry. I paid upfront, got a ticket with the confirmation and proof of payment and the boots were ready when they said they would be. Not sure where the bad reviews come from on here, but to me the team seems very lovely and the type of people that give back the respect they're given. I will absolutely be coming back if I need more work done on shoes.
Thanks a lot Eric for sorting out my air forces’ back panels holes appeared in the back of both pairs, and bringing my favourite shoes back to life again. Plus he managed to work some magic for my bag and made the zipper work again. He knows what he does and does it well, many thanks Eric and all the best
I took my new Barkers to have sole covers fitted and the result is outstanding, Eric is a true master of the craft. Can’t speak high enough.
Here does the great job. Brought about three pairs includes two of C&J handgrade shoes to get hard rubber sole for longevity. 100% recommended. He has great craftsman ship and also he is super friendly and down to earth.
Fantastic repair done on a pair of boots while I was here for a few days holiday. Asked for a re-heel at short notice, and this was done along with a re-sole to an extremely high standard within the hour. Absolutely delighted with the service and the quality.
Eric has re-soled and re-heeled two pairs of shoes for me - he does excellent work of a very high standard. We live in the US and it’s hard to find anyone who does this type of work where we live. He turned around the most recent repair in 24 hours for us. Fantastic service - thank you.
Dropped off a pair of boots to be re-heeled and resoled, work was completed in less than a week to a great standard. The owner is honest and friendly he even gave me a pen!. I will definitely be going back if I need my watch strap repaired or other boots worked on - he even does bags, suitcases, etc.
Gardeners - Get Your Tools Sharpened! This is a little left of centre but I have a number of professional gardening tools which needed the blades sharpened - shears - secateurs et al. As a local - I enquired whether Eric was able to sharpen them and he was and all is great. To add to this - the soles of my Helly Hanson boots came away - own fault I washed them in a launderette a number of times as muddy from work. I purchased a glue and it failed as I am not a professional in this arena. Eric for £30 made them better than new!. Moral of the story - don’t wash certain boots at launderette. Leave the repairs to professionals for this type of thing.
