Unbelievable, thank you so much! I was recommended this shoe repairer by a friend. I took 3 pairs to him, 2 of which were quite expensive shoes, I must admit I did abuse them. When I returned to collect them I barely recognised them. New soles, new heels but he had stitched a couple of places were they were coming away as an extra and also cleaned them. The finish he provided was honestly magic. My pairs of expensive shoes are fully restored and now look brand new again. Incredible!!
Brought a pair of almost new Chanel courts to change the heels and glue the soles since they were coming off. Picked them up completely destroyed. The glass heel was broken into pieces and badly glued together getting dirty the white part of the shoe with glue. This glue was not only on the nearest parts, but all over the shoes. The cherry on top of this experience was that after spending half an hour cleaning my broken shoes the heels that were just replaced came off. Feel like if i did it myself as unprofessional, i would’ve been done better. Deeply disappointed and heartbroken, it was a vintage pair I bought to wear for a very special occasion : Never coming again
This cobbler deserves all the stars and then some! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the wide range of shoe and leather care products they have on offer. But the true star of the show was the cobbler himself. Not only did the kind gentleman manage to fix my cherished bag which I thought was a goner!, but he did it quickly, expertly, and with a smile. The whole experience was a delight. If you're looking for a cobbler who can fix your leather goods with love and care, look no further! This place is an absolute gem.
Incredible service! The guy was also very calm and positive overall. Basically, my key snapped while the lock was in open position. I went there, and the service guy gave me two safety pins and let me borrow WD-40 to pull the remainder of the key out myself. I managed to do so, brought the two pieces to him, and he made me a copy that works! It was less than 5 pounds!! If I didn’t have this guidance, I would have easily spent close to 100 pounds for a locksmith to come and fix it. Super grateful to the service and positive attitude! Highly recommend them to anyone!
Incredible service. Three keys cut and a watch battery replaced, all in 5 minutes.
The Master Cobbler restored my designer shoes to like new after another cobbler had butchered them. Really impressed with his work! The shoes also returned beautiful cleaned and polished. Service was friendly and chatty so not sure what the complaints in other reviews were about. Call ahead on day your shoes will be ready to confirm the time.
I was a regular customer here for years, then I moved away for a long time. I recently moved back and was happy to see these guys still in business. The problem is that the three pairs of expensive hand made shoes I have had repaired there has been a problem with each one. Wrong soles put on, edge dressing poorly applied and now the worst - the heel of a pair of £400 Trickers shoes is falling off after being worn just twice. I'm really sad to say I will never go here again, they call themselves master cobblers but I'm afraid they are totally inept and should rename themselves a load of cobblers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Took my beloved john lobb shoes in that I had abused.thought they were unrepairable and went to check. tim at the master cobbler described to me exactly what he could do and how long it would take. He estimated about a week as he was on his own. But to my surprise they were ready the next evening! Looking absolutely brand new if not better. Would highly recommend 10 star plus!! Unbelievable service and very friendly staff.
One of the assistants is super rude and the gave me back the shoes as I brought them after it was paid.
