Most of the draught beers weren't available when I visited and food was suddenly stopped being served 45min before time. Pretty poor when you're counting on it because you're camping and have had a few drinks! Only given 2 stars because camping was reasonable and a lovely location.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Set in a beautiful location with very little noise around, we found it easy to relax. The only thing we didn't like was the creaky floorboards. We stayed in room 3 and if people in the room opposite got up to use the toilet in the night, it would wake us as the floorboards are so loud. Otherwise it was really nice and the breakfast was very good.

Great little pub/hotel with friendly staff and reasonable prices really enjoyed my stay And they are dog friendly

I don't normally moan about places as they are all worth a chance.......but ! If you have tastebuds then the food here is not for you. The carvery had real potential but was just badly cooked and way to much salt and pepper in the ingredients. The beef tasted like it had been washed in soapy water. If you have a small child / baby don't expect to find anywhere to change them as no baby change services were available. The whole place needs a revamp and would be great if they do but it did feel like an 80's time warp. Sorry.

The lady who runs it is lovely the pub is kept tidy and it's clean not yet tried the food but my daughter works there loves it and all she goes on about is the bloody cabbage lol
