Just returned from a fabulous weekend with friends. The lodge was perfect and had everything we needed, including some cleaning supplies and all we needed for lighting the fire.nThe beds were comfortable. Everywhere was clean and tidy.nThe hot tub was perfect, the staff even came to top it up and make sure it was clean every morning.nThe staff went above and beyond, even helping us to find a taxi to get back whilst we out and about.nLocation is stunning and quiet.nPerfect relaxed weekend had by us all.nWe can’t wait to come back!!
Just spent 7 nights 4 is never enough in the birchlands . We love it here. Yes lodges need a little attention here and there. But in no way affects your staynStaff are lovelynPool is greatnLodges are spotlessly cleannHot tub we love and is checked every morningnThere is everything you need in lodges. Including a coal bbq for outsidenWasher / dryer for your hot tub costumesnSee you in September
I stayed here with my friends for 4 nights for my birthday it’s a lovely getaway, the lodge was stunning and very peaceful and clean, I really enjoyed being there, the hot tub was cleaned every morning and the staff are very friendly and lovely and very helpful and we will definitely come again. The only little problem when your there is if your ordering shopping no one really knew that the lodges was there but the delivery man will ring to ask for help to find the place.
Lovely location, but there's general wear and tear that really needs addressing half the light bulbs didn't work and the mattresses are very uncomfortable all springs very little padding
The staff are very friendly and polite.nLodge 9 we stayed in could benefit a refurbishment, decking & hotub have passed their sell-by date.nAll lodges look tired , swimming area is in a very poor condition.nRegardless of the condition of the place, it was an enjoyable stay.
