Gorgeous family run campsite. Claire gave a warm welcome by showing me around on arrival. The site itself had lots of space and lush green grass.nnIt’s certainly a quiet place with a family feel, and not for partying or social gatherings, which was a big part of the appeal for me.nnAfter 11pm nobody made a peep and I was delighted that my nights sleep were way better than I expected. I also saw Claire around often talking to campers, so knew if I had an issue I could approach her. This was assuring to me as a lady solo camper, but other campers I spoke to were polite and kind anyway.nnThe toilets / showers were lovely and clean. My only small suggestion would be to let campers know upon booking that the showers are on timers and require 20ps. I was lucky enough to have change, but if not, I would’ve been stuck and it was a very hot and sticky weekend!.nnOverall, wonderful stay. Thank you! I will definitely be returning!
I nice clean sight with lovely owners, we were there from Saturday to Tuesday, from Sunday we had the field to ourselves, toilets and shower are clean, 20p for a shower Wich is good as it stops people from having long showers keeping the queues down. but we didn't have any problems with queing though. even though there was a school on site on Saturday night the walk back up from town really isn't that bad.
Nice little site in a good area. Claire the host was so friendly and enthusiastic about the whole place and a pleasure to talk to. Lovely surroundings combined with nice clean facilities make this a great choice to visit. We had a good time and would defo visit again.
Beautiful locations , plenty of natural views of Dee valley. Camp side is perfectly marked and signpost is very clear . Plenty of space to pitch tents but designated . Camper charging , water and toilet showers working in perfect and clean .nnOwner / staff lovely and helpful.nNot far from Llangollen town. It has all shops and restaurants bar to explore.nnWe enjoyed our tent stay with our kitten he enjoyed exploring the quiet surroundings.
Incredible location, perfect for walks and cycle rides. Up to the castle ruins, down to Llangollen, walk along the canal or just sit and enjoy the views from the campsite.nImmaculate facilities and a warm welcome.
