Story

Set at the bottom of the Horseshoe Pass in Llangollen, We offer pitches for touring caravans, motor homes and tents with or without electric. Our camping pods are becoming ever more popular situated near the stream we have 12 all together. We have 3 self catering cottages 2 that sleep 4 people and one large house that sleeps 14 people. We also have static caravans and lodges all which are privately owned, and we always have a selection for sale.

Onsite we have 2 central heated toilet and shower blocks, washing up area and laundry room.

We also have our Bistro which serves breakfast, lunch and evening meals and has a fully licensed bar. Opening times vary throughout the season.

We also have our shop which from Easter - October stocks fresh bread, milk, camping essentials and houses our butchers counter.

Beautiful site, in a great location with a nice walk into Llangollen and to Horseshoe Falls.nThe pitches were not very flat though and the nearby road was very noisy.nThe facilities were limited, and although they were ok while we were there if the site were full they would not be enough.nThere is an on site shop which is open 9 to 5 and they will freeze ice blocks for you although there isn't a dedicated freezer for this like other sites I've been to.
Toilets and showers are dated and dirty.nPods aren’t maintained, resulting in our light not being very safe during our stay. And the lock on our pod was unsafe, meaning someone could lock it from the outside, and it was incredibly difficult to lock from the inside - did report both issues to the warden, which was pointless, he promised he’d fix the lock the next day but didn’t. Have sent a couple of emails to ask about a partial refund or even an apology at this point for these issues, but have been ignored. Such a shame as the site itself is lovely. But we wont return after these issues.
Mostly the campsite was lovely,but felt like the toilets could do with improving and the showers more regularly clean and fixing them and hair dryers and sinks. kids enjoyed the stream and and area is perfect x
Took our camper van with awning away for the weekend - lovely place, lovely people & dog friendly. The bistro / restaurant was really busy and loud but the take out was ideal for taking back to our pitch
Absolutely lovely place I’m genuinely confused by the negative reviews. We stayed in the bell tent, everything was beautiful upon arrival. Bathrooms and showers were always clean infact the cleanest campsite Ive seen in the years of camping. The place is very quiet specially at night I was actually happy to read the comments saying it’s noisy as I can be slightly noisy at night camping but we had to try our best to be quiet. The grounds were looked after, the place is beautiful and we will return.
