As a local reviewer; I'd like to make consumers aware of the various negative reviews below; each being very similar and consistent from 1 to another. Clearly there are issues with this dealership and the cars they sell.

Haphazard, bullying and untrustworthy. 

Following the purchase of my vehicle it broke down literally hours later and before getting home! AFD took it back to make a repair only for it to break down 6 days later (same symptoms of clutch failure)

After 5 weeks of stress and abusive phone calls from them, they finally backed down and refunded me in full. 

Know your consumer rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015), take advice from Citizens Advice and write to them in a matter-of-fact way and don't back down. 

You'd be better advised not to use them in the first place though!

Sale process was pretty easy but I discovered problems with the car after I bought it. I took the car back in the first week to get it fixed with the 3 months warranty, the car was pulling to the left and they claimed it was the tyre pressure which they "sorted "out, I drove away but it still hadn't been fixed so I took it back a day later. They said then said it was the wheel alignment which they had fixed, I drove away and it STILL hadn't been fixed 

I ended up taking it to my local garage, the real issue was the break pads and worn tyres. They effectively sold me a car with problems, and I chose to get it fixed at another garage because they couldn't solve it themselves  with their useless warranty.  Be careful when looking at a car here.

Over the last 10 years i have had my DAB radio transferred from one car to another 4 times by AFD.  Has always been a fast, friendly, efficient, decent job at a very fair price.  I only wished i lived closer so i could get them to do the mechanics on my car.  The ultimate compliment; would i buy a second hand car from these guys? Absolutely definately.
