Tonight my 16 year old got drunk at a party, his responsible friends tried to get him a taxi home and none of the taxis would take him not that I blame them I made a quick call to county cars and they collected my him and brought him home to me safely, I cannot thank you all enough!! I have been using this company for many years and they have never let me down, tonight just shows what a wonderful, caring team makes up this company, from the fabulous lady that answered my call to the kind, compassionate gentleman that brought my son home. Thank you all so much
Used this taxi firm yesterday, and I must say the service was excellent, my driver was Shaun who arrived on time, was patient, polite, and courteous, he did not have to use a sat nav for the journey unlike some other big firms I have used in the past, he went the shortest route, and did not try and rip me off with the price. I will definitely be using this firm again in the future.
We booked x3 taxi’s, 1st was for my parents to go to the airport, after updating them the prior week they needed extra space for luggage they confirmed ok. Called them after they were late, said would be 5mins, Driver didn’t know the address Greenfield and turned up 30mins late, I had to navigate him! then arrived in a car too small, they requested a mini bus, but too late to take them to the airport. Other x2 taxi’s to and from the airport have been cancelled. Utter rubbish, get a sat nav and a clock.
This is an absolutely appalling service and I would advise anybody with accessibility needs to avoid them. My disabled housemate used this service to take our sick cat to the vet today. We phoned ahead and were quoted £10 each way and were told by the dispatcher that both cat and mobility scooter were perfectly acceptable at no extra charge. The taxi driver was then 15 minutes late because he couldn't find our house despite our very clear directions. He then accused my housemate of lying about what the dispatcher told us, refused to wear a mask to keep my housemate safe as she is clinically vulnerable to Covid, and furthermore charged her extra for the time he spent trying to find our house. Following this, my housemate was then refused access to three different taxis from this company due to a combination of them refusing her scooter, refusing the cat who was in a secure carrier, and another taxi just not arriving. This meant she and our unwell cat were left waiting in the snow for nearly an hour. We're both disgusted by the attitudes of your drivers, the utter lack of regard for a disabled person's safety and access needs and the unacceptable discrepancies in quoted prices. It's 2022, there's absolutely no excuse for this.
Ordered a taxi from mossley to Ashton on a Saturday night and turned up withing 10 minutes. Good service.
Driving up a single track road and came face to face with one of their drivers who was 3feet away from a passing point. He expected me to reverse 200yds back to the next one. I asked the driver for his badge number but he said he didn't have one. As far as I know an unlicensed taxi driver has no insurance? Eventually after numerous other vehicles had joined the queue behind me he fevered the 3ft.
Terrible service rang to book a taxi said be 40 mins an hour later no taxi rang again they said would be 10 mins 30 mins later still no taxi so ended up walking home absolutely terrible service and if i was you wouldn't bother they had no intention of sending a taxi
left my phone in the taxi and called and asked if they could return it, they said they could for a small fee which i agreed to. they said it would be 5 minutes but it's been over an hour now. awful, unfriendly service too
