Booked a round trip to and from the airport. We were told to contact the office when we were in baggage claim which we did last night.19.49 we were told the taxi was on its way. 20.30 still waiting rang back to be told its on the M56. Finally turned up 21.00 it took less time to fly from Dublin. Not the drivers fault nice guy got the bullet sorry. Dispatch totally at fault and no apology for that very poor customer service. Gave 1star as this is the lowest we could give. If 5star read this look at your booking and please comment. Your last experience is the one you remember mostly.
I use this taxi company around 4 times a week. Drivers are generally pleasant although you do get the odd rude one here and there. Usually happy to help you with your bags etc, there was an occassion when the driver was lazy and wasn't helping so I just took my time unloading everything and eventually he pulled his finger out Operators are usually pleasant when you call although they can be a little blunt I'm guessing when busy. On a Sunday taxis tend to take longer than usual but I think pretty much everything takes longer an a Sunday so it's fine. Only real issue I've had is having to sit in a filthy car, which had muddy paw prints, dog fur all over the place and soiled looking seats. I didn't report it to the base because the driver was so friendly but I don't think I'd be happy to sit in that car if it did turn up again tbh.
I've been using limeline for last 2 or so months and to be honest I have had several shocking experiences with this company. Twice in that time my booking had been canceled by the dispatcher for no reason. They are usually very late when they do turn up. This morning I ordered my taxi at 2am to pick me up from work at 6am 4 hours notice should be plenty also I was led to believe I had a standing booking every Saturday at 6am, one dispatcher said he had added it after I got messed around the last time. So after finishing at 6am I went outside to get my taxi, no taxi there, rang limeline to find out what was going on, apparently the taxi I had booked 4 hours in advance was in Altrincham, the other side ofanchester from where I was, bit the dispatcher assured me he would get the driver to put his foot down and be with me soon while I was to wait in the pissing rain and howling wind. I assured him that was going to happen and told him to cancel my booking. Rang swift cars of stalybridge instead, they had a taxi with me within 2minutes, much better service. As scathing a review as this might be, the company isnt all bad, some of the driver's I've had were lovely and at least one of the dispatchers was incredibly helpful, however this doesn't make up for the rest of them being completely useless. I uninstalled the app.
Sent a text saying the taxi was booked. Heard nothing for a while so I rang up. Told me the driver had turned back due to an accident. Even though I told them to miss the main road due to this. Dispatch driver refused to believe there was any other way to get to me. When I asked why I wasn't told the driver wasn't coming he actually said "Because I don't have time to tell you." Well done, mate. Cracking customer service.
Trying to get a taxi back from Manchester Arena is almost impossible but Limeline were amazing! Called a taxi after the gig had finished looking at the horrendous queues and gridlocked roads left me with not much hope. But myself and my daughter were sent one within 15 minutes! The lovely driver kept in constant touch with me and advised us how to find him so he wasn’t caught up in the traffic. It was such a relief when our final call helped us locate him and we got to our hotel safely. Thank you so much to that driver, he went way and beyond to get to us and I am so grateful
Poor service. Booked a return mini bus to Manchester airport, mistakenly gave them the wrong address, realised a few hours later and rang to correct, in the morning a normal car turned up when I told them there was 5 of us, the mini bus went to the address I'd cancelled, finally got sorted, when we got to the airport the driver wasn't aware it was a return so gave him the flight details for the pick up. On our return the driver rang us and then said he would set off from Oldham for us, so we waited for nearly 40 min, when he got there there was no apology or anything. Will not be using this company again, shocking!
Am really not happy, he turned up late , so I was late for work. He parked further up the road not at my house, didnt have a clue where he was going so ended up costing me more, nearly crashed, rude to me. I always use this taxi firm but they're letting me down alot lately turning up late and sending me drivers that dont know where they are going

Abhorently awful service. Consistently and significally late no matter how much notice they are given. They seem completley uninterested on the phone. I would rather ride a disease encrusted, flea ridden, old and decrepit donkey fresh from the beaches of Blackpool than use the disgraceful service offered by Limeline again.
Great taxi service. Always friendly drivers. Cheap enough and don’t rip you off. Sometimes the wait can be rediculous they need more drivers to be fare
