This place was so good for breakfast, that we came 2 mornings in a row here. The staff were super friendly, even though they were busy. We sat inside both mornings due to the cold Clare weather, but outside looked nice to sit at also. All orders were spot on both mornings. Will come again when in the area.
Great food and friendly service. Opened during public holiday and quick food service too. Food was tasty and value for moneyFood: 5/5
Excellent breakfast and coffee, has a massive amount of chai flavours. The Zest Big breakfast was wonderful. Wonderful service. Will be back again!
Had an evening meal . Food was exceptional and the owners and staff are fabulous. Nothing was to much trouble . One minor thing the water needs to be colder . I especially enjoyed the Brasheta I recommend it as a starter. The steak was cooked to perfection. Overall a very nice night, will certainly be returning. Parking: Plenty parking on main road
We attended opening night for Dinner service at Zest Cafe. Amazing food, friendly service/staff. We arrived for a late dinner 8pm. Zest closes at 9pm, and although we were still there after closing time staff were more than happy to accommodate us. On our experience, we highly recommend you stop into Clare and grab a coffee or meal at Zest.
Went for brunch, Great eggs with salmon for hubby and eggs and bacon for me. Dog friendly. Puppy chinos and snacks given to my dog by owner.Food: 4/5
Fabulous food a small wait was absolutely worth it. Breakfast was delicious and hot. Don't you just love that. Coffee especially great. Staff more than responsive to your needs and all with a smile.
We had lunch here today and it was the only bad experience in our week spent touring SA, the rest has been very impressive. My husband ordered a chicken BLT and asked for GF bread. The dish arrived with crumbed chicken which the waitress confirmed had gluten. We should have sent it back but we were hungry so my husband ate around the crumbed chicken. When the manager came out to ask about the problem, he suggested it was our fault for not consulting the written menu. He said he had plenty of customers wanting GF bread without caring if the rest of the meal was GF. We had waited quite a long time in line to order from the counter & the menu board didn't mention either GF or prices so we were quite surprised that our modest lunch for two cost $46. Pretty poor on every front. Dietary restrictions: Doesn't understand GF.
The coffee is really good! We had breakfast here this morning. Tim had the Eggs Benedict with ham and I had one of the specials. It was huge! 2 zucchini and corn pancakes, haloumi cheese x2, 2 eggs and spinach leaves and beetroot chutney. I wouldn't order it again as it was way too much food for me. We've enjoyed breakfast here before and will return. Maybe I'll just order a muffin or toast next time :
Pretty average food, great staff but the kind of place that has a TV on to add atmosphere. Eat outside to avoid that. Kid-friendliness: Ok for kids.
