We live in the area and popped in for some lunch on a Saturday. It was busy but we managed to get a table. The menu was clearly labelled with veggie, vegan and gluten free options which was really helpful. The food itself was great, really good quality and large portions. We will definitely be back!Rooms: 5/5
I genuinely can't say enough good things about this place... Absolute hidden gem..!!! Amazing selection of beers..!!! Great staff....!!! Not eaten there but I know people who have and they all say the same.... Brilliant..!! This is an amazing pub that appears to do everything correct. Love visiting and recommend it to many people.
This pub has such a lovely feel. Great beer and cider range, comfy seating indoors or outdoors, board games, and the ever-amazing Blue's NR3 providing VERY high quality and innovative food.
I really like this pub, they have done a nice job in making it feel homely and classic with the decor, but still modern and looked after. I like that they have some craft beer although the selection could be a better. And the food here has been very good historically. All in all a recommended visit if you're in Norwich, the sort of place I would take a visiting American to show them an example of a good British pub. I have never stayed here however so I couldn't comment on the rooms.
Best pub roast I've ever had! And more than one veggie option for the roast. Really delicious. Also love the pub itself, nice decor and friendly staff
Despite being on my doorstep for years, I've only recently started visiting this pub. I've got to say that I deeply regret the time spent not coming here! There's a fantastic selection of ales and lagers to choose from, priced reasonably, and served by some really friendly folks. Beverage in hand, you can then choose from a variety of seating depending on your mood and the weather. Standard benches are out the front and back, with a nice row of tables and chairs round the side. If it's p*ssing it down and you'd rather be inside, then there's plenty of seating. I'm greatly looking forward to enjoying a hit cider by the wood burner when it starts to get colder. Come on a Tuesday evening and you'll struggle to find a seat as they've started putting on a quiz that's drawing everyone in. The guys creating it have gone for more rounds with less questions each round, giving you more of a chance to find your speciality. Throw in the fact that they've binned a sports round and you'll see why it's quickly becoming one of the best quizzes in Norwich. Is that enough? I think that's enough. As you can see, I highly recommend The Rosebery, I think you'll like it to.
This place for a roast is a gem. I've had many roasts in Norwich and the surrounding area and buy far they serve the best roast 10/10 and I've never given that before. The staff are friendly and good too. A message to the owners Keep your chef/ chefs !!
Great room which was decorated lovely. The Rosebery was in a great location for us. It was about a twenty minute walk into the centre and forty five minute walk to the football grounds. There is free parking on site for people staying at the b&b which is decent. There's a really cute breakfast hamper with croissants, cereal and jams in, plus a mini fridge with milk, juice, water, yogurts and butter in. There's also kettle, Nespresso machine, biscuits, toiletries, hairdryer etc. The room was lovely, warm and clean throughout our stay. There's loads to do in the area. We went to Norfolk Coast, jogged parkrun, watched football and went into the city for a wander. They serve food at the Rosebery, however we never ate here as we ate while out and about. We did however have drinks in the bar. On the Friday night it was very busy so we stood at the bar, however on the Saturday night we could sit down! I would recommend a stay here, I enjoyed our two nights here.
Great local pub on a quiet street, plenty of drink choice and the food is some of the best pub food I've had. Love music and a cosy atmosphere too.
Stopped in for a meal. Good menu, great beer, really helpful staff. A busy pub with a great vibe!Service: 5/5
