The new Marlborough is already a marvellous pub with a great selection of beer - the tiny rebel IPA is our favourite. Now they do food - my husband loves chicken wings and this bowl of honey, ginger and soy wings made him very happy. We will be trying more off the menu, the small plates looked good.
A really good, lively local pub. I love that they've managed to maintain that local, real pub feel. Great food too, the chips are amazing.

I often bring mates here when they visit from afar, and I'm never disappointed. It's relatively recently been given a makeover, which has been done well to maintain its history/charm but has also given it some modern necessities. Alongside a really active social calendar, including a weekly quiz and regular live music, there's good food deals and free darts and pool! Highly recommended if you want a few good beers with some friendly locals, in a lively and atmospheric boozer that offers all the trimmings. Perfect for me too as it's right on my doorstep!
Loaded fries and chicken wings are amazing, great friendly pub.
Great atmosphere for the World Cup and the menu was just right for the occasion too
