Zeffirellis

Zeffirellis award-winning restaurant, cinema, café and jazz bar is a fantastic venue.

Our philosophy when it comes to the menu is simple - Mediterranean influences using the best ingredients, preferably organic, cooked with passion and presented with more than just a hint of flair. We make no pretensions with our food but rather just let the flavours do the talking.

The cinema has four screens each with Dolby digital projection, two of which are with 3D.

Fellinis

Fellinis is a new modern 'Vegeterranean' restaurant catering for the most discerning vegetarian palette with a distinct Mediterranean twist.

Our menu changes regularly to reflect the seasons and the availability of local ingredients. Our wine list has been designed to complement the flavours in our menu and will also change accordingly from time to time.

Fellinis also offers a unique studio cinema experience. We show art-house and independent films hosting seasons of live performances of opera, theatre and ballet via satellite.

Movie Deal

Our great value Movie Deal, a two-course meal and reserved cinema seat costs just £21.95, if you eat at Zeffirellis, and £23.95 if you eat at Fellinis.

A lovely vegetarian restaurant with a good selection of dishes including various pizzas to suit any taste even non vegetarians. The atmosphere is good and the staff are helpful and friendly. If you want to you can have a early bird cinema and meal option that is well worth it. You even get a reserved seat for the film. Really nice experience.

A very jazzy, quaint, elegant restaurant and cinema complex. I had the pleasure to come here on a Valentine's date and get the movie deal available, which included fantastic food and a movie of your choice. The booking process was a simple polite call, and upon arriving we were quickly designated with a ticket, table and a menu. Furthermore the waiters were excellent and the wine delicious!

Excellent service and food. Always a pleasure to visit. Zeffirellis provides a meal/movie combo which is a great deal. The movie facilities are excellent, with comfy seats and really good screens and sound system, given the location it's really impressive how they achieve this. For the Lakes, it's a valuable resource (especially during inclement weather) and they show Hollywood blockbusters, streaming concerts and plays and independent films.

Seems like we visit Zeffirellis whenever we visit Ambleside. My husband and I aren't vegetarian but really enjoy the lovely food. Great flavours and so fresh. We even go home and recreate some of the dishes, especially the Pecan and Cashew Wellington. Delicious

Excellent vegetarian and vegan Italian restaurant - but don’t let that put you off. Great food and top service. Good wine list to boot. Booking recommended!
