I stayed at YTH with my 5yo son for the night after a busy day on the beach. Location wise, it's a few mins drive from the action, and walkable to the beach but not with all the gear!. The venue looks just like the pictures, and idyllic house with pretty gardens and plenty of parking. The karaoke from the beach bars didn't make it as far as the hotel so it was nice and quiet. We stayed in one of the ground floor annex rooms so the door opened into the back garden which was great. The room was spacious and very clean. Service was great, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Ordering breakfast was the most complicated thing ever BUT, it did mean that we got exactly what we wanted no pesky tomatoes, even down to choice of sauce. It was high quality ingredients, nothing had come from a supermarket and was the best breakie I'd had in a long time. Thoroughly recommended, can't think of a downside.
A Lovely Bed and breakfast place to stay. Breakfast was spot on . Rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Would stay againRooms: 5/5
Very welcome with an excellent breakfast.only stayed for one night as we were visiting friends . Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
Thank you for a lovely stay, Anne! We stayed for just one night off season so it was very quiet. Close to the beach and I can imagine a thriving place when it's peak summer season! We stayed in room number 2 which was second floor overlooking the front of the house, a very peaceful out of the way spot. The room was enormous, very warm and cosy feeling with a sofa and TV to chill out after a long days walk. Bed was fantastic and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Really great thank you, highly recommend!
Stayed here few days ago, we really enjoyed our stay, especailly our daughter, being her first holiday stay. Absolutely beautiful cottage with lots of character tooked away from main road, stayed in a huge room on first floor, plenty of space to put up a travel cot, ensuite was spacious. Breakfast was great, went above and beyond for little miss, weetabix strawberries and milk on the table ready for her. Thank you so much Ann and thomas for making our stay humble and comfortable.
The room had a huge 7ft double bed or 2 full size singles if preferred and was spotlessly clean and further cleaned every day of our four night stay. Towels were changed every day without the need to leave on shower floor tray and there was an abundant choice of gel soap, moisturiser etc to equal or surpass many four star hotels. Different varieties of tea, as well as coffee and hot chocolate were all in the room. The breakfasts were amazing and excellently cooked and the choice of food available was just superb. Proprietor, Anne, was most friendly and welcoming and was a wealth of helpful advice on different places to dine and visit during our stay. I would thoroughly recommend this B&B
Absolute hidden gem. We chose The Yew Tree mainly for the accommodation and space the family room suite allowed , two adults & two teens, and we weren’t disappointed . We had a wonderful week , the accommodation, breakfast, cleanliness , friendliness and local knowledge was just perfect with the added advantage of a lovely garden to sit out in during the evening. i would highly recommend and we would definitely return. Thankyou Anne and team
Had a very peaceful one night stay here. The b&b is very quaint and sort of old fashioned but really lovely and cosy. I received a warm welcome. The array of food for breakfast was astonishing and I enjoyed it very much. The house is set in very pretty gardens and it’s a short walk to the beach. It was a little oasis of escape in a busy time for me!
Lovely old cottage B&B. Absolutely spotless, breakfast was superb with lots of options. You can see a lot of effort goes into making this a fantastic Choice of places to stay. I would most definitely recommendRooms: 4/5
Having just returned from stopping at Yew Tree House for a couple of nights, I would highly recommend this B&B. I was greeted by Anne on my arrival, who showed me to my room which was very clean with all usual amenities, including plenty of tea/coffee etc. which was topped up daily. I was amazed at the extensive breakfast menu, all made with locally sourced ingredients where possible, and my traditional English breakfast was excellent. A quiet location, a few minutes walk to the beach and approx. 20mins walk to the bars etc on the main road. Would I book this place again in the future......without hesitation. Thanks for a really pleasant couple of days Anne!
