Family Sunday roast at The Bull yesterday. Food was excellent amongst us we had the beef, the lamb and the chicken. Everyone was pleased with their meal. The atmosphere in the pub was great - other family groups, nice buzz of conversations and presumably some locals enjoying a drink or two. Service from the young waitresses was first class.
Waiters and bar staff are so attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the pub is ruined by the landlady who is incredibly rude to paying customers, it appears that she only likes to be accommodating to the ‘regulars’ and shows disregard to anybody else. A real shame as the young girls behind the bar are very friendly, however the landlady causes an unpleasant atmosphere and makes you feel unwelcome if you’re not on a first name basis with her. I wouldn’t come back anytime soon. Food was nice but for the price you’re paying, I’d expect far better service from the landlady.
We had a roast dinner today at The Bull in Barton. Wow it was amazing. I would definitely recommend. Presentation was great and the food tasted delicious.
If you want to feel unwelcome then visit this place. When people come from all over the world to visit Universal - give this one a miss. Customer service was passable. The people and the atmosphere was awful. Much better places to visit in Bedfordshire.
Popped in for lunch today, haven't been before. I have to say we had 4 meals.. All were great and tasty and the hostess was warm and funny .. Would definitely come again.
