Had a lovely overnight stay at Harlington Manor. It is a Manor house full of charm, character and history. We stayed in The Wingate Room, which is a very large room with king sized poster bed. It has its own bathroom down the hallway with a shower, toilet and sink. The whole Manor is decorated to keep with the theme and most of the original features of the house are still present. The gardens are really beautiful to look at. The breakfast was lovely and made to order. The host, Dave, was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place if you want a bit more unique stay for a very reasonable price. Nearby activities: Close to Centre Parcs Woburn and the Aqua Sana
Harlington Manor is a lovely little place just five minutes off the motorway. The place is extremely clean and is charmingly ancient, with original floors and a load of antique furniture. We stayed in the King Charles suite and the mattress was incredible. Our breakfast was prompt and well executed and the proprietor is friendly. We planned to have dinner at the nextdoor pub, but they were not serving that night. The village is really cute and there are two pubs.
Very good host and excellent breakfast. The property is over 400 years old and full of character. I highly recommend this place for a visit and stay. Excellent opportunity to experience old style hospitalityRooms: 5/5
I returned to my 'Birth County' to attend a family event and decided to stay somewhere other than the usual corporate venues and found this - wasn't a B & B back then! So glad I did, David is an outstanding host and the building/contents have more conversation starters than any hotel in this area! Lovely breakfast, perfect hosting. Walkability: If you are a foreign traveller to the UK there are traditional Pubs in walking distance.
Amazing place to stay. Historic building, amazing antiques and artworks, and a good breakfast. Service is laid back and friendly, reflecting that this is a family home. Rooms: Historic so quirky. Walkability: 5 minutes walk from a station. Noteworthy details: Historic building which hosted Kng Charles II. Breakfast served in the room where John Bunyan was interrogated. Would be a great base for seeing other Bunyan sites around Elstow and Bedford.
Great B&B and what a fantastic host David Really enjoyed our interesting stay at the Harlington Manor. Breakfast was great and it was nice to chat to David the owner during breakfast. Such a fascinating house with such character. We were flying from Luton so this was a perfect stop over. I would 100% return in the future.
I've stayed at Harlington Manor a few times and would highly recommend. Rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped. Tea and coffee is provided, along with a selection of toiletries normal stuff in larger bottles far better for the environment. Breakfast, when staying in the main house is superb, David is a great hostRooms: 5/5
Amazing place.. very old, perfect for history enthusiasts. The hosts are amazing. Rooms: Royalty Food & drinks: Amazing breakfast Noteworthy details: One section of the manor is from 1390
What can I say absolutely perfect David the host is amazing we have had the most amazing stays here and would recommend it to everyone outstanding property and absolutely beautiful Rooms: 5/5
A wonderful place to stay, very quirky, it's an old building, but beautiful, if you want mod con's, this place is not for you, there is WiFi, but no TVs. David the owner is very nice, and cooks a good breakfast. If you like old buildings, with antiques, this place is the place to stay.Rooms: 5/5
