What a lovely hotel, we were here for 1 night while traveling to scotland. We had a pleasant stay, the restaurant was good and had a lot of options. The bed is fine with lots of pillows and there is plenty to do in the area. In the evening and morning it is just so quiet, very peacefull. Tool a couple of moments to enjoy that. Based on our one night stay 5/5 stars
Just spent a night here as we had booked to do the Morcambe Bay walk on Saturday. Great hosts. We had a fabulous room at the top floor overlooking the bay. Ate here yesterday and the food was lovely. Good hearty breakfast this morning. Highly recommend and would definitely book again . Thank youRooms: 5/5
Just returned home from a 3 night stay. Great hotel lovely food especially the steak & ale pie. Breakfasts brilliant and the service from start to finish was excellent. Everyone at the hotel was warm friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place to stay. Really good value for money. Arnside is a lovely place and peaceful. Thanks to everyone who works there we had a cracking time.
great family room good views great place when not raining. Staff are good and breakfast wow. we did have 2 showers whist in the room from the above occupants above shower leaking into our room. But im sure putting this being in review will get that sorted by management. This did not affect our stay as it is what you make of your stay that counts. We did not have meal or drinks there, so cannot review that. The only reason for not eating or drinking there was we enjoyed the area to much to waist being inside other than resting our heads.
Went for a meal there was 3 of us so we all ordered a starter witch all came out sloppy and then the mains came out which I ordered a steak very well done and quite clearly told the staff I didn't want any blood I cut into it it was nearly raw and cold my partners was the same the chips was not cooked either they was hard still threwout ... my friends was a steak and ale pie and also the same chunky chips which was also not cooked it was that bad he never even ate his the best thing about it was the drinks which was non alcoholic the bill was £98 which would be understandable if the food was cooked properly I would not recommend eating here as I found it disgusting!!! Will not be going again that's for sure!!
Fantastic 1 night stay for 2. Amazing value, delicious food and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. They went over and above to accommodate a last minute change to my booking. It's in a fantastic location with great views from the room. Will be back for sure.Rooms: 5/5
It wasn't the biggest room . Needs some updating. A new kettle would be a good start . Bed was way to soft . Feel like your falling off through the night . They did mention the bar was being refurbished .Rooms: 3/5
We stayed here for 1 night lovely hotel, nice friendly owner ,smiley friendly waitresses . We had battered haddock, chips ,mushy peas then sticky toffee pudding 10/10.Highly recommend Rooms: 5/5
Great refurb, but sitting in the bar having a drink was spoilt by the overwhelming smell of frying fish. Maybe there was an issue with the extractor that night, but my mate and I couldn't stand it for a while pint!
Stayed here a few times every time the management and staff are very helpful and polite. I'm a disabled customer Tony and Jeanette went out of there way to accommodate me with my mobility scooter and any other minor problems that I came across. We stayed in the Cartmel which is a disabled room which was perfect for myself and my scooter, it has a wet room that is fantastic. The food was hot and delicious and the Sunday roast was amazing. The prices for both food and drink are reasonably priced The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, warm and bed was comfy. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Will definitely be coming back again.
