Quite an old-fashioned place, but full of character in small village of Silverdale. We only had soup & sandwiches for lunch but it was decent quality & good value. Staff were very friendly & efficient. Dogs are welcome indoors. There are a few rooms but we didn't see inside them.

We only had drinks in the bar. The service was fast. The bar area was quite small but had a nice atmosphere.

Very friendly and inviting staff. Had been walking and mud all over us but walmly welcomed even with the dog!!

fantastic food and friendly next time i will stop in the hotel. plus owner a Nottingham Forest fan so even better

I love this pub - child and dog friendly, great food (best butty and chips ever), cosy, convivial and perfect after a walk. The staff are fabulous. One of my favourite places.
