Good location to get to places like Kendal and Carnforth as well as the Lakes. The rooms were of good quality.

Great overnight stop off on the way to Kendal. Family room was good size, all clean and temperature was just right. Noise from road wasn't noticeable in our room and we all had a good nights sleep.

Basic but very clean. Bathroom was sparkling. Room was a bit chilly on entering but within 10 mins was fine. I was in the area for a job interview so stayed over rather than 3 hour drive in morning traffic. £45 for the room was a good rate. I was facing the M5 do a little noisey but if you are tired enough. Stag Staff were friendly. The Key Fob gets you 20% off in the 24 hour Costa and I think Greggs. They offer a breakfast deal, muffin, fresh oj, small boxed cereal and sachet of milk for about £5 but I declined. Good value hotel overall.

It's comfortable but not as cheap as it used to be though it is far less basic.

The traffic noise from the motorway and lorry park is unrelenting. On top of that this Travel lodge has flood lights which illuminate your bedroom. Sort these issues out Travel lodge!
