Lovely place to stay, The lodges are beyond expectations and very cosy.
Would of given 5 stars but i wasn't happy with the lighting a night (very dark) and lack of lit up signage to lodges...walking back at night is very confusing and frustrating!! Simple signs saying lodge name and number from/to would make thing much better. Also was unable to check out before 9am (wanted to get early start due to snowy weather) .A key dropbox should be avaliable outside reception.

Lovely holiday location. The lake is so tranquil as peace full. Will be coming back next year.

Plus sides -Lodge itself very nice, good modern facilities/cracking view over the lake.  Restaurant- bar -swimming pool & leisure facilities all spot on !
Negatives- road layout / surface poor ! Site lighting Very poor.  Info to find lodge poor (No number on ours ! )
No info pack in the lodge to say how appliances / heating worked !
Decking around whole lodge had green algae all over it ( very slippery / DANGEROUS!  ). Power kept cutting out when it rained  due to no cover on outside fuse box ,DID report but nothing was done ! 
Apart from these points it's a good location for touring the NW & the Lake's

Good facilities and amenities. Great motorway links. Supermarkets only 5 mins away. Lighting around camp could be improved, it either blinds you or is none existant.
