We been to this place to find all thing you can get for crafters . Materials from wood , paints. Rope, Drawing paints & more . You pay once to join. Then pay for all the goods .You need to go there to find out what they have there. Sorry to hear that you are closing down after you all have done in past. We all miss will you very much. Great place to get your art supplies at a really good price, staff are friendly and helpful, would be nice if some more stuff was sourced, seems to be very samey each visit. Shabberdashey for materials are cheap and good lots to choose from. Go check it out
I used to regularly visit when the store was near shrub hill. Sometimes I had a membership, sometimes I didn't, but even when I wasn't a member I could still buy things, including scrap. If you weren't a member, you simply paid more for a basket/trolley. Now, you can only buy scrap if you are a member. Very disappointing and to be fair, not the best of business plans...money is money is money, why turn it away? I will never be a member again because I don't visit the store often enough to make it worth while, but I would have continued to spend money there if I had been allowed to. Maybe someone could have a think about this? Apart from that, it has some interesting bits and pieces, but sadly isn't as good as it used to be, far less of a selection.
A treasure trove of odds and sods for the budding artist, teacher or creator. The staff are friendly and there is always something new to spark the imagination. Always check online for opening hours as it's not the usual 9-5!
It's good for general junk modelling materials, but fairly expensive considering you are buying other people's rubbish! Also the pricing structure means that if you don't want lots of stuff, like you want some specific leather offcuts for example, you have to pay for a whole basket, which makes it expensive.
Really cool idea to stop industrial waste from being discarded, with ever changing stock you will find plenty of materials for a whole bunch of crafts.
Absolutely love love love this place. I have one huge grrrrrr about it right now though. It's kind of a pain to find on the new industrial estate due to there being no signage out to point the way!
As an art teacher I use thi WRE all the time. Lots of interesting items and Art supplies to be had and preventing things from going Into Landfill. Highly recommended
Excellent choice of recycled products, great for all sorts of craft, I got a big cargo net for my trailer here £5
This place is great for craft materials and definitely better value and better for the environment than hobby craft. Check it out :D
