Great building with a very large car park to accommodate lots of customers. They have a good range of garden products and they direct you well for how to apply for part time work there. Location could be more central to St. John's or Worcester city center. Exterior of building is well painted and kept clean.
Two very nice ladies helped me pick and get all the accessories for the three trees I purchased this morning. They did a good job as I was beginning to loose the will to live as I am not a big Christmas fan. Well done ladies and well done homebase for having such customer dedicated staff.
Visited this store yesterday with a broken LED ceiling light fitting from my newly refitted kitchen. I no longer had the packaging or receipt from the original purchase of 6 lights earlier this year. The girl at the till Jaz and customer service people were very helpful and I now have a full set of working lights again. Very attentive and helpful staff which makes shopping there an all round a good experience.
Great store, just been to buy a hosepipe, and they've got their Christmas display out, and the staff were good and found me an 8ft 334 led lit Christmas tree, as there wasn't one on the shelfs. Nothing was too much trouble, very helpful staff.
Closing down sale.??? That's not very cheap at the moment but I sure the closer it get to it's end the better the deals will be it's only about 10% of the marked price on most things and selling out of most cheap things so check on line before you go to see if they have it or click and collect it so it's there when you get there
Just tried to buy a Bosch drill, three boxes on the shelf and display models out. Boxes state, "if you want to buy one of these drills ask a member of staff for help". Walked round shop, all staff appeared to be huddled in a group behind the customer services desk. Asked to buy drill "I'll check stock", "we don't have that one in stock, neither do Blackpole, or Droitwich" why is it out on the shelf, why are there three empty boxes? "Dunno". Have you got any of the Bosch drills from the display of drills and empty boxes? "I'll check....no" can I order one or can you tell me when they will be in again? "No, we just get what we are sent". By this stage a supervisor is advising the staff member whilst clearly trying not to identify himself as a supervisor or wanting to get involved. I don't know if this branch is closing down, if the staff know they are losing their jobs or if this is normal service now, but I will find somewhere else to buy Tools now. This is the third time we have had this level of service over basic requests.
Went in for batteries for a smoke alarm and rechargeable batteries for a phone. The phone batteries weren't a bad price but the smoke alarm one was horrendously expensive. Store staff pleasant though.
Shame it's closing down. Limited selection available as clearly it's being run down with stock. Staff really helpful though and some great bargains still there
Very Friendly, happy and helpful staff in the garden centre, best quality plants found here anywhere in Worcester. The Hylton Rd is by far the best store to go to in Worcester, more products and friendlier staff than the Blackpole store
Plants past their best but still full price, however the staff were helpful, polite and courteous. Took the trouble to ask colleagues when unsure.
