Managed to get an appointment for our cat the same day. He was in a fight and the wound had become infected. Vet checked the wound, his general health and gave him antibiotics by syringe which will last for two weeks. Vet had a lovely,caring manner. Nice place with seperate area for cats. Very clean in the room and reception area. Receptionists nice and friendly. Would recommend.
We have used Woodward’s since moving to Ashby 5 years ago for our 4 furbabies and have found the team to be so friendly and helpful. I always get an appointment and all my animals have received quality care. We’ve had all sorts of treatments over the years with the most recent resulting in our oldest boy sadly being put to sleep. The staff were incredible - so respectful. We had two months of treatments/tests prior and they were attentive and communication was on point. Cannot thank the team enough
We went to woodwards with our little dog who was sick. Very sadly he ended up being put to sleep which absolutely devastated us! Javier the vet was extremely patient with me especially as I was more emotional than the average person. It was dignified and peaceful at Barneys end and the staff on reception afterwards were so lovely and understanding.
I was very nervous about leaving my dog for his castration but the nurse Kathryne who dealt with him was fantastic. She took the time to give me all the information I needed and give him lots of fuss which made me feel far more comfortable about leaving him. The call I got to update me afterwards really helped to put my mind at ease and all of the staff were lovely. He is one of 3 dogs I have registered here and the staff are always great with them.
My elderly but healthy cat needed some clumped tangled fur removing. We arrived early in the morning and my cat was welcomed and assessed by a sensitive and professional vet. We discussed treatment and they were able to sedate and treat my cat's coat by shearing the offending clumps. He's back to his old self now and hopefully he'll allow us to groom him now.
Best vets around!! I have a 2 year old Labrador and two British shorthairs, who are my absolute furbabies! Nothing is too much trouble at Woodward and they treat my pets with such love and concern. Appointments are always available and they prioritise emergencies. A wonderful vets and I’ll never leave as long as I’m living in the area!
Good practice. My pets have been treated very well never have a problem with treatment. But can be frustrating sometimes when you call for an appointment you are asked to be put on hold.
Have taken my Siamese Cats to D C Woodwards since 1984, they really are the best for cats and dogs. Their professional yet sympathetic approach to our fur babies is indeed comforting, and inspires confidence and reassurance. I always recommend Woodwards Vets to my family and friends. Thank you for looking after and treating our animals. Long may you continue to provide an exceptional service.
Woodward's vets are brilliant I've been using them for about 35 years now The staff are very nice very pleasant and friendly And the vet's are very good and always really nice with your pets I'm always happy with them
When called the practise, the phone was answered quickly, the receptionist was friendly and polite. Got an appointment quick. The waiting room was nice and tidy when we got there. The receptionists were kind and polite just like the vet. My dog was handled with care and love. The price I've paid for the service we got was not expensive at all. I was expecting a bit higher bill, so I'm pleased. Thank You very much for Your care.
