Story

Cockburn Veterinary Group has been caring for animals in Leicestershire since the 1930's. And, although we employ current best practice and our surgery is kitted out with the latest equipment, we still retain our traditional values.

We care about animals, not sales of pet medicines, so you can trust us to offer ethical advice and never to recommend treatments or medication your pet doesn’t really need. And we know your pet is one of the family, so we provide our own out-of-hours service for round-the-clock care by vets who know your pet’s history.

Very helpful and professional vets, and staff at reception. First time used them, it’s a very clean, spacious and a caring place. Vets are very nice and helpful, deal with all issues for us. Free parking at the back, disabled toilet near the entrance.
This vet is fantastic! My boy urgently needed an entropian surgery. A lady vet Cathy saw my boy within a day which was on a Friday and she operated the following Monday! The surgery went very well and my dog is recovering well. She did a fantastic job and I can finally see his beautiful eyes again. Bailey is now so bouncy and happy. The aftercare was brilliant. All the staff in this veterinary practice are so friendly and professional. They really care about animals.
Our vet at Cockburn vets, yesterday, was fabulous. He was calm, gentle, very thorough and super clear with communicating about his thoughts on the issue we attended for. Our dog was a little nervous and grumbly at first but the vet managed to put him at ease. Thank you so much for being caring and authentic
Scout has been visiting Cockburn's for 6 years now and the service we receive is excellent. He has been treated by several vets and they are all friendly, caring and attentive. The reception staff are all pleasant on arrival and all know Scout and greet him personally and go the extra mile to make the pets calm and happy. I'm so grateful to have such an excellent facility nearby to care for my dog.
I had to book to my beloved Daisie to be put to sleep. I have to say they were amazing! Caring and thoughtful. I was a mess! From the call to ask for advice. Booking in and every receptionist I spoke to understood how difficult it was, they were incredibly paitent. The very kind vet made sure I had all the facts and explained everything so I knew what to expect. It was a very difficult period I will never forget their kindness and professionalism. Thankyou for making a horrific moment slightly more bearable.
This is the second time I've brought a dog for a keyhole spaying and it reinforced my first opinion. Extremely efficient, professional, caring and informative throughout, thank you one and all at Cockburns

I can't fault Cockburns, they are more expensive than other vets in the area but they get me in the same day whenever needed, they are so kind and helpful. Thank you cockburns!

I’ve been coming to see Diane & the team for over 15 years & always had the best care possible. Diane never makes you feel rushed out like most vets I’ve used before & uses experience over needless costly tests when she can. Recently I’ve seen Nyika who is an excellent addition to the practise! She’s a behavioural specialist as well as vet so expertly able to help my new OES puppy with the issues we’ve had. Can’t say enough & would recommend to anyone who wants to give their fur babies the best care.
