Mr Shukla and his anaesthetist and all their staff were brilliant. They made everything clear and once on the Ward all staff were extremely nice and couldn’t do enough to help even though very busy ! I only marked it down one star because I had lots of challenges over appointment dates with the front desk ! But everyone puts you at ease and keeps you updated etc I was in for an opp on my shoulder, not my first op there and never have any worries once in
I amhome after a knee replacement and from start to finish, the have been exceptional. They were very thorough with the checks prior to the operation and the reception, nurses and doctor where superb. Dr Srinivasan explained and performed the procedure and operation respectfully and with skill and my hospital stay was much better than I anticipated. I must mention also the physio, the two girls who came to get me moving, where very understanding but persistent and after giving me stronger pain killers, I was able to get my knee moving, to which I have been doing daily. Well done to you all, and thank you for making my knee replacement go so well. Laura Godfrey
Amazing. I had double hernia surgery here on 1october and i must say thank you to everyone. Spent one night in hospital after and the level of care was just amazing. While waiting for surgery somebodys alarm sound and i think around 15 nurses and doctors came to take care of an old person in less than 1 min. My doctor was Mr Hamish, and im so happy that he didnt cut me to much. The nurses were amazing too. I CANT say anything wrong about this hospital, maybe they need bigger car park. Now , when im writing this review i am 8 weeks after surgery , had no issues at all, im back to my health as before. Also i had checks after and a 24 hours phone line number which ive called few times for help after. There are few bad reviews in here but i disagree with all of them, also i came through NHS and normaly they would treat better private patients i think. The schedule time was quite fast around 2 months waiting, scan and all checks. I wish you guys all the best and for anyone who wants to chose this hospital please go ahead. And not the last hope you guys get better payments cz ive hears nurses talking about being unhappy with their payments
The poor experience begins at the reception. The old lady speaks to everyone like she is doing them a favour and clearly has something better to do. Then the most important question, are you insurance or NHS. I said NHS, never seen an expression change so quickly. Then the doctors who are walking around this place with so much attitude looking down on everyone waiting to be seen. I have never been surrounded by so much arrogance. Not going to be returning, will not recommend.
My mum had excellent care from the minute she went in to have a knee replacement last Thursday late afternoon. She is 84. They wanted to send her home Friday night, but my mum told them I wasn’t able to, but by Saturday lunch time Ward Sister Sarah was on my case to call collect my mum as they needed the bed. At 7pm I collected my mum and needless to say she couldn’t walk the 3 high steps into her house as told by the physio to use her new knee replacement leg first. My daughter and I had to help her before we realised the problem. She managed to walk upstairs using her good leg first there are 6 steps a landing then another 6 steps not what she was told to do however once upstairs she spent the rest of the night vomiting and the whole of Sunday! Today with a little lucozade, she feels a little better. The place is like a conveyer belt. One in one out despite my mum explaining she didn’t feel well enough to go home, she was totally ignored as was I. The patients needs are not met or cared for once they need the bed, that’s it you’re out. No care plan, nothing, but get out and be thankful you had the operation, the bed is taken before you can sneeze. The ward sister’s tone of voice was rude and authoritarian and was not interested in my mother. I do hope they record conversations and can hear my objections!
I've recently had spinal surgery here NHS patient with Mr Amitt. I was made to feel welcome and at ease as soon as I walked through the doors, all of the staff I came across were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was also excellent.
What an amazing hospital. Staff are so professional, kind and caring Trina and Charlotte my nurses were amazing and went beyond expectations. Stunning service. Highly recommended
My mum had an operation here a week ago. She could not speak much of English therefore I was allowed to be there with her. Nurse Cyy sorry if I spelled incorrectly was extremely helpful and looked after us very well. The whole process was pleasant. Thank you to the doctor and the nurse!
