I first came here on the recommendation of a work colleague & haven’t looked back since! The atmosphere is lovely; the tables are spaced far enough away from each other that you don’t feel like you’re sitting on top of one another. The service has always been amazing & the food is delicious. My personal faves are the baked Camembert and Windmill Burger with Stilton Would definitely recommend as a place to come
We called on the off chance we could get a table at 3.00pm on a Sunday afternoon and told a table was available at 3.30, We waited with a drink in the bar area which was very pleasant with a nice atmosphere,at 3.30 on the dot our table was ready. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is excellent, I have paid a lot more for a lot less elsewhere. I would highly recommend visiting the Windmiil and we will definitely return.
We have just had Roast beef Sunday Lunch at The Windmill, and I have to say it was one of the loveliest Roast dinners I have had for ages. I always rate it on the Beef, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes, all of which were perfect, along with the vegetables. The atmosphere and service were excellent, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I can't recommend The Windmill high enough, we will definitely be back.

Had Sunday lunch with my partner today and it was fantastic. Had 3 courses each and all dishes were great .plenty on the plate so we left full .they allowed our dog in too which was nice .only downside Arthur 'tiger' pringle not serving !!
Went this evening with my partner for a nice meal out. Oh my gosh, the food was amazing. Atmosphere was lovely and the staff super friendly. The chefs really out did themselves. My boyfriend’s Windmill burger was cooked to perfection and my chicken was amazing too! Just how it should be cooked. Amazing flavours too. Had to give a £10 tip. Highly recommend!! :

Have been wanting to visit here for some time. As a fan of the tv series Auf Wiedersehen Pet I wanted to see The Barley Mow. Great food and great staff made our visit very enjoyable, we will definitely be back soon.
