A seaside hotel is nothing without great hosts and Ben & Barrie make The Willow Tree Lodge one of the best places to stay in Great Yarmouth. The care they put into making sure you are well catered for is very reassuring. The hotel itself is clean, tidy and well decorated throughout. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the coast.

Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast, the only downside was the 38 stairs up to our room!!

This hotel is not too far from town or the beach. The service is very reliable and the full English breakfast is spot on. I stayed in room 8, I even had a sea view. There is also plenty of free parking near the hotel. Overall the hotel is perfect, however the WiFi connection does drop from time to time but when it's working it is a good speed.

Stayed here for our anniversary and the owner was extremely accommodating the DVD borrowing I thought was an incredible idea at no additional cost

Disappointed as I was under the impression this was a pet friendly hotel but on arrival asked if Dog could go into the dining room and was sure the predator said okay but in the morning the dog was not allowed in the dining room and was not allowed to stay in the room on his own so was asked to put him in the car not good as what was I Supposed to do if you been a hot day not very clever and as for the room on the last night of my two night stay the electrical socket which was power in the telly the kettle and the fan and another socket decided to explode melting the metal on the plug in the socket itself when I went downstairs to report it I was told I can do nothing tonight The owner didn't even come up to take a look so I took pictures of it and showed it to me in the morning All he did was apologise and that was it not even offer of some money off not very good would not go back again
