Wonderful, friendly service from the staff here, which made for a lovely family lunch before our visit to the hippodrome. Great home-cooked food served with a smile and even some jokes for the kids! My sons were also very impressed by the toilets lol, I can't speak for the gents but the ladies was very nice : Nearby activities: Hippodrome and the usual arcades, not sure whether the adventure golf is open during the winter season, but in the summer there is loads to do here: arcades, joyland, pleasure Beach, miniature village, brand new leisure centre and of course a huge sandy beach Walkability: It's about an hour I guess from one end to the other but the main activities are probably max. 30 mins apart. And the prom is conveniently located opposite the first pier Britania pier? and Joyland. The far end opposite end to the pleasure beach has beautiful dunes and we love it there to kick a ball about and it's very popular with dog walkers year round. Food & drinks: Lots close down in the winter, but The Prom hotel is one that is open all year and is definitely worth a visit if you want a bite to eat or a drink whilst visiting Great Yarmouth.
Great nights stay. Room was large bed was was comfortable with a decent on suite. Food was also good with staff very welcoming all in all a very pleasant stay Food & drinks: Ideally situated on the seafront with the bar and restaurant below. Food was gastro style with a good selection behind the bar
We come here every month for an evening meal and it's good quality and value. Absolutely no complaints and always easy to find parking.Service: 5/5
The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Listings say that rooms have Aircon they don't. Breakfast is beyond terrible, we were given something that was clearly past best. Rooms are filthy. TV didn't work and didn't get fixed. Towels stank of smoke. Blinds had a huge gash through one and bottom missing of another, both filthy. Bathroom has a window which doesn't open and broken extractor fan. Bed is so uncomfortable. Really loud part of town, especially when you need to open the one window that opens with no safety catch, to let some air in. Dead flies on the carpet. Dust and grime everywhere. Shower is burning hot or freezing cold. Towels were left on the floor outside our room all day and night. I could go on.... Nothing was done to rectify any of it. At checkout the receptionist had a list of complaints by room number on his desk, he wasn't there the day before. We checked out at 9am didn't bother with breakfast on the second day. Total waste of money and so unhygienic.

We would go back Every year if we could. Spent a week here in September 2022. Absolutely Fantastic! Nothing only Positives for the accommodation, the Staff and the food and the location. Without Doubt this is the Best Hotek Experience that we have Ever had in GB. Highly Recommended! Rooms: Spacious, en'suite, Quiet, Daily Cleaner. Lift to every floor. Nearby activities: Sea Front Entertainment, Cinema, both 2 minutes walk away. Town centre 5 minutes. Walkability: Hotel is next to Town Centre and on the Sea Front! Food & drinks: We have Never eaten Better, both Breakfast and Evening Dinner. There is a Good Range of Take away food and Splendid Room Service. Noteworthy details: Kind Considerate Staff, Cheerful, Polite and Well Mannered. Nothing was too much trouble!
Visited several times to eat and drink. The food is excellent and tried several different dishes throughout the week. In the main the Staff were excellent and always polite with smiles on there faces except one lady bar staff who must have missed the Charm School session course.Service: 5/5
3/4 years ago the food and service was great, unfortunately in 2022 it was dreadful, frozen chips, soggy Yorkshire's, under cooked veg - and I like my veg with a crunch but not raw and cold with a roast dinner. Toilets are blocked, same as two weeks previously, please try hardware store or even Amazon, they sell plungers. Will not be visiting again, such a shame to see this has gone downhill
Visited this pub for an hour before closing time on a Monday evening whilst staying just up the street. The staff were great and the service was brilliant. The look of the place feels like a big pubco owned pub but its independently owned which just goes to show the professionalism and vast experience of its operators. They stock a wide range of drinks at prices that are not going to hurt your wallet.
Basic menu but very good service from friendly staff. Open quite late as well. Definitely worth a visitService: 5/5
